And another cool oldschool item 👍 I think you are the right man where i can ask my two unanswered questions! I am looking for a user manual of the 1994 symmetry EPX, i can only find one of the EPX2 - can you point me in the right direction? i published a video of it and some more technical details will be great! My second question is if there was a " Rockford Fosgate beer bottle " available in the 90's in the united states. I got one from 96 which was made in austria and was available in europe. i also made a video of it. I just want to know if that bottle was unique in the european car hifi scene back in the mid 90s. Many thanks in advance and keep oldschool 👍
The manual for the Symmetry I do not have. I can ask on some of the RF pages and see if anyone has some scans or something but you would have to join the page to view what's posted. As for the beer bottle. I am not aware of there being a US version. The one you speak of is the only one I ever saw as a promo/collaboration. So yes, it would be a unique item item as it was never released or used in the US. I know some people have made scans of the label from a original bottle so there are some knock offs in the US.
Both of the links are for the EPX2. A employee of RF said this "EPX and EPX2 were very similar once the software updates were performed. The EPX2 offered plug-in E14, E28, and DSP cards" I hope this helps Audiokeller :) EDIT: This was also mentioned about the EPX "The regular EPX manual was quickly outdated once Wayne did software updates for IASCA competitors."
Balanced vs Unbalanced .... sigh... We get effed in car audio... Unbalanced (RCA cables) shouldnt even freaking exist. Balanced adds a 3rd cable (XLR cables for instance) and basically makes distortion in the signal wire not possible.... Like why isnt EVERYTHING balanced for signal wire EVERYWHERE?!!?!?? YOU GET AN XLR... .YOU GET AN XLR... EVERYONE GETS AN XLR!!!! NO MORE DDISTORTION OR FUCKING GROUND LOOP BUZZ!

If you are on Facebook check out the "Rockford Fosgate Old School" page. Lots of good people and info on there.
