Stupendium always knows how to make the perfect song for any game he’s covering.
In the Hitman series, you only ever _play_ as one man, but there are actually _dozens,_ if not _hundreds,_ of other "hitmen" in the setting. They all (or at least, pretty much every contract killer that's much _good)_ are trained and employed by the ICA, the vaguely-named International Contracts Agency. If you want someone dead, for any reason, they'll take care of everything, provided you're somehow well-connected enough to even know the ICA _exists_ (generally, if you're some kind of international crime boss, absurdly wealthy, a high-ranking member of a country's military or intelligence agency, or some combination of the three). I don't recall if it's ever made clear _how_ the ICA assigns hitmen to jobs (Do they just pick based on your budget? On the necessary skills? Do _you_ pick? Do they send you a _catalog?),_ but it _is_ made clear that the player character, Agent 47, is the best and most expensive option available.
I think its through handlers like Diana assigning it. They do call her the “Crusader” in Hitman 2016.
@@nippusimmer9028 i haven't read up on it in a while but im pretty sure the handlers act as a barrier between the clients and the rest of the ICA and the clients are allowed to request a specific hitman like in the games you hear that most people request for 47 when they need it to appear like a accident cus of how good he is at hiding his tracks
In Hitman 2: Silent Assassin, you do a series of contracts for a shadow client, that turns out to be the big bad of the game. This client specifically demands 47 for his contracts. So based on that, I'd say the client can pick. Dunno about getting a catalogue, but I'm pretty sure the people who request 47 do so based of his reputation.
A second qualifier would be the skill required for certain job. In the tutorial of Hitman: Absolution, 47 is tasked to infiltrate an abandoned theme park, taking over by a drug gang, and kill the park's owner, after showing him a picture of the client's son (who died from a faulty ride at the theme park). I imagine a job as dangerous and specific as that would land on 47's bureau.
47 is the best at making it look like accidents or natural death its his speciality its why they call him a ghost no one can prove his kills are murders
@Wasted Spam that was blood money tutorial
Love the line "Yes, there's a price behind predominance. And 47's on the tag you'll find upon your shopping list" cause it feels like a rebuttal to Nem's line "If his barcode doesn't scan, we just need to price check him". Like, yea, the price is your life.
IOI (IO Interactive) are the developers of Hitman; the ICA is the International Contract Agency, a company in the hitman universe that deals in assassinations by remotely hiring the greatest killers from around the world to work as mercenaries. Over the course of the previous 2 new reboot Hitman games it's revealed they've long been infiltrated and corrupted by an illuminati-style group known as "Providence" and 47 in turn rooted them out with this third and final game being about tracking down the now revealed Providence members.
also can we appreciate: "Your plan was **clandestinely** running the show, But your **clan is destined** for coming to blows"
STUPENDIUM DON'T MISS WITH THE WORDPLAY
stupes at it again. man some of his lines just stick with you forever like remember from an early reaction of his death and taxes one ashes to ashes 9 to 5 the light in the tunnel has been privatized. he just has so many of those that just randomly pop into my head. lol
I remember so many specific lines
"It's a strange new world and you must survive, who says you need a map to thrive"
"Since the precept was decreed its certainty was predetermined"
"each shiver will deliver us deliverance in time"
""But at the heart, well the art is heartless"
and more
@@gamesandglory1648 I've got like 8 entire songs from this guy constantly stuck in my head.
@@epikitee2186 I do to I was just listing examples and for some reason when I was listing I couldn't come up with many but like an hour later dozens more were stuck in my head not even watching any more
Nem actually made a Kingpin comment himself when advertising his appearance in this video.
Saw your face? At 13:22 in the bottom left (although your banner is hiding it)
I didn't even notice who the people actually were! They're all reactors and collaborators! That's so absolutely dope!
This is 100% what you call Poetic Justice. The Stupendium Master of his craft. This ish is 🔥🔥🔥
One thing that I like in every one of his songs is his word selection. He's got a vocabulary strong enough to pull a loaded boxcar, and he makes certain to use it.
Like you said, poetic lyricism. It's good stuff.
Stupendium deserves all the attention he’s getting! He’s a master of his craft!
The ICA is the agency you work for in the game.
And THIS is why I watch reactions like this! I love people who get hyped by good music, and break it down like fine art! Probably don't have to say it, but keep it up!
i just loving seeing rappers react to the stupendium! i dont really interact with the wider rap world, so i have no context for how good stupe's ryhmes are. and seeing these more traditional rappers appreciate stupe's nerdcore really warms my heart.
Our wonderful 47 works for the ICA
POV: you're listening to a grown man moan over sick bars
would "rogue's gallery" be considered to be listened to? It is one of his hardest-hitting raps
That beat is so damn good!🔥🔥🔥
11:46 There is a mission where you can kill a target by scaring him into trying to escape the building - after sabotaging his parachute.
you were in this one lol stupes 86ed you
I think 86'd means like
80 miles out, 6 feet down.
Like take someone out of town and bury them.
Might be wrong in that but I've heard it used like that in other places.
i seem to recall that 86'd is used in the restaurant business referring to dishes sent back and thrown out
@@Mivdyrooo I thought 86 meant in restaurants “not in stock”
The ICA is the name of the agency the assassin works for
Did I just hear 'you dont wanna see the afro' in the intro
yes
Darnell! Darnell Darnell Darne-e-e-e-e-e-ell? bro. just curious, but is Hitman Absolution part of the same universe as this game?
If you see this pep the end of this track again and look at the screens behind him in the chair 😉 I k ow your a sucker for details so enjoy haha
its funny seeing someone not understanding what the concept of hitmen
86'd is davy jones locker.
