Pedro, very nice work! Great tone as well. EVH was so clever and creative. 🙏🏼 He’s my G.O.A.T. guitar player. 🏆 I have the same exact guitar in a lefty version. My most played guitar since I got it in March 2023. Thanks brightening up my morning! ☀️
This was really well done! Love the little live version things you threw in like the open E B and G string slides into pulloffs before the second prechorus. An Eventide Micropitch pedal would make the tone perfect btw - that effect (from the rack H3000 back then) was a key thing on all the Hagar albums.
@@RyanMaziarz glad you noticed that! Yeah a micropitch would be perfect, but my approach is to get a good tone that I like and makes sense for the song, not necessarily mimic Ed’s tone.
Guitar -> Mooer Tuner pedal -> Crybaby Wah -> MXR EVH Flanger -> Friedman Pink Taco v2 (Bass: 5, Middle: 7, Treble: 5, Master: 5, Gain: 7) -> Torpedo Captor -> Focusrite Scarlett Solo -> Reaper DAW In the amp's FX Loop: TC Electronic Flashback (Tape, FX Level: 10 o'clock, Delay: 11, Feedback: 9), TC Electronic Hall of Fame (Plate Reverb around 10 o'clock) In Reaper, I use the Two Notes Wall of Sound plugin for cab simulator. I use a preset that I made, with 4 Friedman 412 Vint 6402 (www.two-notes.com/en/product/friedman-412-vint-6402/), with a mix of SM57, SM58, Rbn 121, Rbn 160, one per each cab. I don't use any effects from the DAW, only the cab simulator. Everything else comes from the guitar, pedalboard and amp.
Bro, how are those monitors for playing guitar? I am thinking of going ampless at home and I am on the fence of getting the PreSonus monitors. Thank you.
@@erhnam to be honest I rarely use them when I’m playing as I use the headphones. They do a pretty decent job I think. I remember when I bought them a few years ago, it was the best deal price/quality for a room, small studio level. They’re loud enough and have pretty good bass. If you want something more robust, probably the KRK classic 5 is the next step.
Next to 1984, fuck is my favorite album. Love this era of Eddy
Great playing and tone!!!
Very well played mate, really liked it. 👍
Best brightest fresh tone i have ever fucking heard on you tube. Hell of a job!!!!!!!
Massive good job there!!!
Awesome ! Playing and tone.... spot-on!

PINK TACO V2 HEAD Great job!
Awesome. I’ve been playing that one forever. You showed me so many other ways to play it !!
EVH guitars should hire you today. Very, very impressive.
Great job.
Ed's subtle touch in his riffs are the hardest to relocate.
The Friedman Pink Taco V2 is an awesome amp to get a nice Van Halen tone! Great playing my friend
I need to look at this for my guitar practice. Looks fun
killer tone. we need a remix of the album with this guitar tone!
Thanks! Maybe not the full album, but I'm planning to do maybe 1 or 2 more. I don't have a double neck to play the song Spanked!
Nicely done!
Terrifically done 🔥
Sounds great!
Nicely done
You got a little EVH in you! Thanks!
WONDERFUL!! ALL THESE PEOPLE WHO DON'T LIKE THE SAMMY ERA, THEIR LOSS!!!
True! I love both eras.
This is when van Halen got soft. Like top40 soft.
Outstanding!
Well done Pedro
