@D What the hell? Why are you assuming things about someone and then making character assessments based on that unsubstantiated assumption? I feel the same way as her, and I for one would object if someone said rats, and indeed have pet rats. I'm also from NYC, so, not exactly a secluded little suburban life. For all you know she may be the same. In any case, we're talking about social deviance / risk tolerance here, not morality.

Finding someone dead from suicide can be a stressful thing! Years back I was working for Stanley Steemer, cleaning carpet, it happened to me. It was my 1st job of the day, at about 9am, in a small apartment complex. As I knocked on the door, I noticed it slightly opened and announced myself as I pushed it open. The guy was sitting in the middle of the sofa, dressed in a 3 piece suit, and their was a nickel plated Ruger .357 magnum, laying between his legs. It was a "security 6"
model and I only know this because I had one at the time. It's a very powerful gun. It was a awful sight to see! His head was tilted back and the blood spatter went all the way up the wall, with a lot of skull and brain matter behind his head. Turns out, he was a psychiatrist for a local mental health & counseling center for over
30yrs! Not a real reassuring thought, that shrinks might be more screwed up than their patients are! It's a scene I won't ever forget either.

Second, just because police have found someone that was murdered doesn’t automatically mean it was connected especially considering that wasn’t either of the vehicles they were looking for. The death “penalty “ is a curious thing. I’ve always thought I’d prefer to die than to live the rest of my life in a prison. However, having living or dying to negotiate with a criminal is a rare asset. Many times it’s the only thing the prosecutor can negotiate to find the whereabouts of a victim.

Yep, that's an often overlooked point. Ironic (I think I used it correctly there, since most people seem to use it when they shouldve used coincidental instead lol) how someone can be so callous toward other's lives and yet be so concerned about their own.
Also always thought it strange how the state can deliver a death sentence and then do everything in their power to make sure the convicted doesn't commit sewage-side, like it'll be some miscarriage of justice or something...I mean, give me a break. Although if someone has a position on this I haven't considered, I'd be willing to listen.
Aaand lastly, the number of death penalty cases that become overturned convictions is horrifying. In light of how many people are convicted of lesser crimes where the burden of proof is often much lower in a jury's mind, thereby likely resultin in even more false convictions that are just never discovered (and thereby never overturned) because they get so much less attention, should be reason enough to overhaul the entire legal system in my mind.
The fact Georgia had to suspend executions because they had more death row equitals than executions carried out at one point, is proof enough for me that the private for profit legal system isn't working.

    In 20 years 5 or 6 homicides 😂
5 or 6 was a calm afternoon in NYC in the 1980's

I live in a town of 200 people in Iowa and there has never been a homicide since 1879.
140 years. There was a bank robbery, I think in 1931.
Also, NYC has millions of people. Mahaska county, Iowa has 22,000.

Our children must never trust strangers, don't feel comfortable in the company of strangers. These girls must really thank God that they are still alive. True happiness is not only about money. Never, never trust strangers.

Quick question...why is it always technically inaccurate? Why is the sharpshooter point man on entry? Even the Sgt. goes in with a ballistic helmet..SOP
