- With all the discussion around Chuu getting kicked out of BlockBerry Creative & LOONA, we thought this was a perfect time to check out this girl group and remind ourselves of what they gave, as 12.
We received a lot of requests for PTT (Paint The Town) last year and never got a chance to check it out, so we're glad to see it now!

blockberry creative was so wrong to the point where BRANDS are defending chuu. like girl😭😭
BBC did wrong because now 9/11 remaining LOONA members have already filed to try and leave the company lol. They said solidarity.
No one who has ever interacted with chuu believes anything bbc has to say. Blockberry is trash and always has been. The girls were constantly overworked to the point of illness and injury, literally STARVED when they debuted, and have NEVER been paid. Members have posted in support of chuu even after the bbc statement and 9 other members are now filing injunctions to leave the group. The company is reportedly under investigation for evading millions of dollars in taxes. Absolute dumpster fire of a company and orbits are just hoping for the members to leave the company altogether at this point .

so basically chuu sued blockberry creative because loona as whole haven’t been paid IN 6 YEARS. but chuu was being overworked since she was 16 she been doing dramas, commercials, OST’s, she has her “own” youtube channel the company wasn’t even providing transportation for her! she was taking taxis while hauling her own luggage. she paid out of her own pocket for her birthday event ( you know the money she hasn’t been getting paid? yeah) it was really bad. now the rest of the members are filing to the end their contracts as well.

I honestly feel like BlockBerry is holding them back. That is a group of talented girls. Their visuals *never* miss, and they’re all so unique. It’s unfortunate what happened to Chuu, I don’t feel like her pockets are hurting much though. She spent a lot of time building her resume. Her portfolio is pretty solid.

Fun fact about Chuu: She's the one who invented the apple heart trend that has become a staple in kpop community (kinda like the finger heart). Countless idols have copied it multiple times.
girl there is so much revolved around the mistreatment and disrespect towards loona you DONT EVEN KNOW!😭 examples being jaden jeong( very bad person who basically controlled loona what to eat and other stuff), bbc as a whole, their solo debut process, their subunit process, queendom, loonathedrought, Haseuls hiatus, and even more 🙏😭
Makes me worried about what may be taking place to TripleS group formation. Jaden Jeong is involved with their formation too iirc.

Aaaaaand... 9 out of the remaining 11 members of LOONA actually filed a lawsuit to terminate their contracts so LOONA might disband soon and good for them to be honest they all deserve to be famous and rich in different companies.
I hope they pull a GOT7, end up owning their own rights and etc and stay together but be at different companies you know? But we’ll support them nevertheless! ❤❤
blockberry was mad that chuu exposed them for their mistreatment now most of the girls have left the group, excluding hyunjin & vivi because hyunjin still has a world cup schedule & vivi has a work visa with the company so I hope things get settled & all the girls leave
My heart breaks for the 12 members of Loona. These are very talented and hard working girls and their performances show it. BBC basically lying about Chuu and now 9 other members have also filed injunctions to suspend their contracts.
blockberry had these girls working their lives away. they were on a world tour this summer with a multimillion dollar revenue & their tour dates were so close together they went to new states every day without proper breaks. it got to the point where we went from 11 members on some days to 5 members left on stage on some of the last dates of the tour… and none of them have been paid… i want them out of that company

Bbc said that Chuu has been abusing the staffs, when Chuu is worried for the staffs of not getting paid. And the staffs defended Chuu, also a loona member Hyunjin responded on a fans message on fab

Loona is not the group they used to be, their whole personality and concept has been dead for a while so honestly chuu leaving is not surprising
Blockberry didn't promote the group very often to begin with, and Im pretty sure at this point all but two members have filled lawsuits. It was nice to see Khadijaon mustard had done her research
It's surprising to hear ViVi wasn't part of the lawsuit considering how little screen, vocal, and center time she gets. They treat her like a backup dancer.
@@hyejinmoon4882 that's not a valid reason to sue. Everyone plays their role in the group so if your role doesn't give you many lines or much screentime that's just how it is. You as a fan are valid in not liking that but she's probably not entitled to lines
this tea is STRESSFUL. like what the heck is going on with these companies?! It's really sad. Artists just want to live their life, showcase their talent, get their well-deserved money, and be happy. Hoping for the best for LOONA.

I'm not gonna say what I think is fact on the financial situation as I of course have no clue what actually is going on, but I bet loona had an debut debt, which is basically a debt you have to pay off as a cost of them training and debuting you. Smaller companys often do this with their groups because they are small and don't actually have the funds to debut groups and not go bankrupt. I'm guessing loona paid off their debt, chuu especially considering she is one of the most popular memebrs in loona and her solo song is EXTREMELY popular, like I don't even stan loona and I've heard few of their songs because they show up in a lot of fanmade content. Chuu's debt definitely had to be payed off by her solo alone, but she probably still didn't get paid for years. I saw that the ceo also just got in trouble for avoiding taxes too.

Blockberry can claim pretty much none of LOONA's success. Jaden, Monotree, Lee Soo Man, Ryan Jhun...their successes were always in spite of Blockberry, not assisted by them. They're a bafflingly bad company and although I wanted LOONA to be LOONA forever, I'll take whatever career direction makes them safe and gives them access to the money they earn.
I would be happy if you could watch the Japanese boy band BE:FIRST's "Milli-Billi" special performance. They respect HIPHOP and express it by imbuing it into their body. Very very very cool and crazy! It is a video that betrays your expectations in a good way. And I would love to see your reaction to this video.
