- Shocked by this ENGLISH GARDEN CENTRE (Germans in Britain)// Join us as we explore the stunning English Garden Centre with a twist - Bents Garden Centre in Warrington! We have never seen anything like that as this is just not your regular garden centre. Bents is so huge that you can spend all day there. It's a real destination! Whereas in Germany you mainly find flowers and plants and outdoor furniture at garden centres, here we stumbled upon 6 restaurants/cafés including a pet café, a huge food hall with German beer, a cook shop, clothes even an outdoor miniature golf course with moving dinosaurs. I wouldn't mind getting lost in that garden center. It's beautiful, tidy and so impressive, no wonder it's been awarded best garden center in the UK. No one would get bored in that one, and everybody's welcome. Just stunning. 😊

I live in the United States. I have never seen at Garden Shop like this!
This was like a shopping mall with garden supplies as one attraction.
You could eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner there, but not see everything.

Today 7th March, is my late sister's birthday, Bents garden centre, was her favorite place and was so close to her home. So I was feeling tearful and there was your video at Bents, so I could just picture my sister being there, she loved her garden, and had green fingers. I live in South africa, so seeing that gorgeous garden center was a real treat. Thankyou.

I’m in the US and this is the second time I’ve seen something about how amazing English garden centres are in two days. Yesterday a lovely young lady on TikTok couldn’t say enough good things and now this one with you both. So looking forward to watching this 😊 I hope my favorite garden center sees this! My husband and I were so amazed at the huge amount of departments and wonderful things to buy, and eat as well as the early Spring items.. especially the David Austin Roses! 🌹 The Easter treats looked so good, so much to see! Fun to see the dinosaurs 🦕 too! Thanks Kirsten and Joerg for your wonderful tour of Bents Garden Center!! ( the red roses 🌹 at the end looked so pretty with your red checked coat and lovely hair, Kirsten! Lovely vignette! ❤🙋♀️

Truly mind boggling to me the size of the garden center. The amount of food items and products that they have for sale is incredible. Hard to comprehend that people are buying all that they have to offer. An amazing place to visit, thank you for showing us around. 😊
We ordered a breakfast in Glastonbury and it was HUGE! We were seated outside in the square, and I ate what I could and pushed my plate away . A homeless man came over and asked if he could have what I left which was over half the original amount. He slathered it in tomato ketchup and shared it with his dog. He thought his Xmas had come early! 😂
The department dedicated to our furry friends🐶🐕 is simply surprising and very sweet. A heartfelt thank you to you who always give us extraordinary realities of life ❤

Dear lovely Kirsten and Joerg, thank you for this video. I lost my closest friend 2 years ago, we'd known each other since our teens (many moons ago). We'd meet up 2 or 3 times a year and visit large garden centres, and had fun and lots to talk about. At a visit to Evesham garden centre in Worcestershire, I bought two gorgeous cushions which reminded me of a summer garden. They are in my rear bedroom and each night I look at them and think of my dear friend Patricia. Also we used to take our late parents and late parents-in-law around a garden centre each Mother's Day. So many lovely memories. You pair are a treasure and good for the soul.
I thought kristen & Jeorg were not keen on live plants. Really, adding real plants into your interior will make your house impressive as plants give positive vibes into the home.. I got a jungle at home 😊

Hello Kirsten and Joerg from Canada! It is always a delight to follow you two on your excursions. The garden centre did not disappoint.
Bents Garden Centre was incredible. It's so large you could go multiple times and find something new; there are so many different departments. They probably do spectacular Christmas decor, too. I love that Bents is so family friendly.
The food portions on the breakfast menu are more than substantial. I think I might have tried the crushed avocado with poached egg on toasted sourdough.
Mothers' Day in Canada is observed the second Sunday in May. I was surprised to hear that Mothers' Day in the UK is celebrated in March. As Canada is one of the commonwealth nations, I just assumed we had the special days on the same day. I learned something new today.
Christmas is spectacular. They even have indoor Christmas Markets.
Wow, just wow! Who needs to spend money on a holiday/vacation when you have this in your back yard, so to speak. Love it.

That was an interesting place to visit. I have never seen a garden center like that one before. That was truly a joy to watch. Very impressive, well organized and so clean.. The food court was very impressive too. That video was a great treat.

They shouldn't call that a garden center. It's a mall! The Brits know how to do garden centers. American garden centers are rare, and you can't have a cup of tea and a snack. This place is awesome!

American here. Wow! What a lovely place. Looks like you could spend a day or good part of one exploring, shopping, eating. Beautiful shop!
It's definitely a destination! The British High Street is in decline. At places like Bents, you get free parking, a variety of quality retail outlets, play area for kids and of course good food and drink!
At Christmas there is a huge display of trees and decorations and Father Christmas had been spotted!

Kirsten, at last, I’ve found another woman who doesn’t wear jewellery! Apart from my wedding ring.
I’m a bit confused why Mother’s Day is different in various countries. In the UK ‘Mothering Sunday’ has been a church festival for many centuries, and that’s also the ‘secular’ Mother’s Day. During the times when households had servants, Mothering Sunday was traditionally a time when the servants could go back and visit their mothers. Female servants could also take them a simnel cake.
By the way, we haven’t been to a full-on garden centre for a while. We’ve discovered the plant nursery that supplies our local ‘up market’ garden centre and can buy the plants at a fraction of the garden centre price.
Loved the dog café though. We now have two dogs ‘accidentally’. We have a collie that we’ve had from a puppy, but we found our second dog on a river bank whilst we were on a boating holiday about 18 months ago. He had been abandoned (we did hand him over to dog rescue service and only adopted him when he wasn’t claimed). Our second dog is very big, and looks a bit like a wolf (husky/German shepherd cross), but is very placid and gentle and he’s a wonderful addition to our family.
What an amazing place. Something for everyone even pets. If I lived close I would be visiting on a regular basis. Thank you
Love it. That not a garden center. That a shopping mall, as always amazing, after u finish you kitchen, get the grill to enjoy cooking food in your patio, cooking with fire and coal the food comes out delicious. Enjoy your home, family and friends and many blessings for the both of you.

I love this garden centre. I used to take my kids when it was just one building with a small cafe and a small car park. They had a small shed where they sold fresh Fruit and veg. I’ve watched it grow to the great place it is today. Many happy memories. You need to go at Christmas. It is amazing. I live in the US now but it’s a must go trip whenever in UK.
