Woohoo. I don't collect any more, but I still have two cards on this list. Lesser condition, of course, but at least I feel special for a little while. LOL.
Now that was one amazing list!!! I’m happy to see it not completely dominated by modern cards. I love the Jackie Robinson and the Reggie. Interesting looking at the Bird/Magic card in that it’s off center all around. I’ve been noticing that more recently with PSA cards. The ‘86 Jordan 10 they picture on their website is off as well. Anyway, lots of money just casually being thrown around here 🤣. Those Mahomes cards a really nice and at least here, I can look at a Tom Brady RC 🤣. Btw, nice touch with South Park. Great work as always, thank you for sharing 😁
a great deal for that /25 federer card considering he is one of the greatest athletes of all time and it's only a /25 and is an on card auto too. I'd reckon that'll be a +1million dollar card at one point
I believe so, I remember that sale now. Wasn't that card ungraded? If so, that explains it. All the subscription based websites I use for research for these videos only track graded cards. Need to find one that would track raw sales as well
The Bird/Magic is OC , the 1952 Jackie seems to have a bottom corner ding, the Gehrig has some mold/paper aging, the Lebron has significant edge wear, the Kobe is slightly off center, the Goudey Ruth is slightly OC, Maradona slightly OC. I guess it pays to be PSA's buddy. Several of these cards are probably recolored or altered as well, especially anything PSA touched.
@@richardjones3365 Damn, I had no idea. Hadn't collected cards since the early 90s. I've been catching up this week since you replied. Fascinating and disturbing. I'm on page 160 of the Blowout megathread. If I ever get back into collecting, I will only ever buy the equivalent of PSA 1.
@@paulchandler9241 There are lots of good cards in PSA holders, including many cards in my own collection. PSA's corruption hurts so many of us with legit cards. I'd say you are OK buying PSA cards as long as you remember the motto that if it's too good to be true, it probably is. SGC is now the most consistent grading company.
It was a private sell brokered through heritage. It does not show up on their website database, nor any of the websites I use to do research for these videos. If you can find any official listing for that private sale, please forward it to me because it does not show up on Heritage's website, only on 3rd party websites such as espn, so it was not included
@@bcrt3387 no but it's disgusting! He has like number one, too, three, eight, 17, 22, 23.. Or maybe, that's ALL you have... It's better to NOT see it!!
Exactly! But it's mostly done with Commons... I saw a 1990 raw Jose Uribe card that sold for something like 22k... Plus it has been proven that pwcc auctions have been plagued with shill bidding
Idk which is crazier to think about owning one of these cards or having that kind of money to throw at these cards....great video

You still collect if you have them

I like the part where the guy goes "yi yi yi yi yi" What a great song
Good stuff! Thanks for sharing
Great job and great content as always!👍👍
Appreciate that Levi and thank you for all the continued support 👍
Those prices are insane! Some beautiful cards! Thanks for all your research! Have a great night!
Thanks Steve for the great content like always. Happy New Year buddy!
Thanks brotha, you too! 👊
that clemente is sweet! wonder what obe of those psa10s would go for..
Imagine spending $1 million on an Anthony Davis card. Ouch!
Ikr 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️
I wouldn't spend a $1 on him
Great video
Dang these are the grails of grails. 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Wow I'm surprised that Joe Montana didn't make the list.
I so badly want to see a PSA 10 Mantle second year card sale.. just so I can see what it gets... Do we think it would crack 50 million?
You could be right... I've been thinking 20-50mil
@@el4174 isn't it crazy that SUPER rich guys HAVE to own all 3, which is why we never see anyone GETTING that 50 million...???

Didn't a luka logoman go for over 4mill? The one that Layton sports cards pulled last year?

I highly doubt any of the 3 people that have a Mantle 52 Topps PSA 10 will ever sell them but imagine how much on would go for. 20 million?

I remember seeing those Kobe refractors back in 1997 at shows for about $1500. If only ……….
I,like collection love that baseball, football and basketball cards memorabilia this me hobie.
Nice
Man, and I thought home prices were overvalued.
Look at the price increase on the Maradona card. $6600 up to over $550,000 in just over a year. Insane!
Holy shit Roberto clementy It might be a 7 but that much
The best, unaltered vintage cards (1960's and before) are probably in the 6-7 range and can be picked up for a fraction of these prices.
Unaltered? I'm intrigued. How do they alter vintage cards?
@@paulchandler9241 Trimming (see the PWCC scandal at PSA---even the Wagner PSA 8 was trimmed) and recoloring are two ways.

LeBron 8.5 was serial numbered his jersey number. May be why it out-sold higher grades.
Kraft Dinner hockey cards lookem up !
I’m shocked by how many recent cards are on this list

Where's the Wayne Gretzky for $3.75 million? Good research.

Does that $2 million dollar 1997 Jordan have rounded corners on the top and regular corners on the bottom?
I think all the corners are rounded, the black line on the bottom of the card makes it look like the bottom has regular corners.
@@bcrt3387 nope, it's half and half, there's a post on IG that shows like 10 of them in one collection...
