I don’t understand why people are not voting for them, they are the best. Yes others are good and progressing but she’s just naturally talented and people seem to be jealous and voting her off. Such a shame.
Alot of people have said she seems to entitle like she's already won the competition. She's great but she gives off the wrong energy to some people hence they dont vote for her.
She didn’t ask to win the CIN special she has 30 seconds to show off her dance the judges voted for her to win.
people r bb. the show is rigged. if nicola adams hadn't go covid she would've won, but now she has, hrvy is being set up to win. and jj chalmers is being purposefully kept in. not to mention maisie is being disgustingly under marked.
You don't "vote people off" in Strictly, you vote for who you love and connected with.
I think maisies personality is a bit like marmite .you either love it or hate it..I am not hating at all but alot of people may find her a bit too cocky

Strictly Mysogny - some viewers. She loves dancing, has natural ability - she has never danced a QS, Tango etc but she is brilliant. That dance was joyous, like old school Hollywood.
I get no sense of humbleness from him... Maisie seems a lot more humble to come out each week and performing better than last week and giving no craps about the hate. That’s humbleness.

@@megan5529 completely agree. Maisie gets hate for being cocky when she isn’t, yet HRVY doesn’t get called cocky, despite him literally showing of his ‘muscles’ in such a cringe way.
Exactly!! A female can not be confident, she must be humble and oh so GRATEFUL! While a man is EXPECTED to be strong! Please let people be people, you like them or not, but dont expect them to be who YOU think they should be!!
The thing I love about these two is despite somehow ending up in the bottom two for the last two weeks running, they keep coming back even stronger and more determined than the week before. Whether they’re unfairly voted off way before they deserve to go or not, Maisie and Gorka are by far the strongest couple on the show this series and everyone knows it.

Pretty simple really, people like surprises. They didn't expect ranvir and Bill to be good so they love it when they get proven wrong. They also like seeing progression, the winner of the series is often someone who started off bad and improved every week. (Someone like Jamie). Maisie started off from week 1 already amazing. Hrvy has a much bigger fan base online he's probably getting all their votes.
How in hell did this not get three 10's, it was up there as one of the favorite dances of the night.

This has to be up there with one of the best dances I have ever watched on Strictly. Maisie is so talented for a girl so young. I love that she is confident in her ability and that shows in how she dances.

Oh my God!! What a dance!! This is amazing!! She's my favourite, but I was completely blown away! What a clean, brilliantly executed Quickstep! It's been a long while!! And Gorka! I must commend Gorka! It's been a while seeing him kill it with his dancing, his run with Alexandra being his only good year until now. It's been nice watching him dance again!! What great choreography! I mean, what they did with that bench!! Wow!! I hope people rightfully vote for her this week because if she has to do this in the Dance Off again, I...!
Anyone else feel like they're being far too harsh on Maisie? She's brilliant! Obvious natural talent and I love watching her dance!
WITHOUT A SHADOW OF A DOUBT, THE BEST DANCE OF THE SERIES. This is one of the best Quicksteps i have ever seen on strictly. Completely and utterly faultless. Not only that but the choreography was NEXT level (the bench work is something i could only dream of being able to do and something i bet some of the pros would struggle with). Tonight is the true test of whether strictly is about the dancing at all - if she is in the dance off with this dance then i genuinely don’t see what more she can do. Should have topped the leaderboard tonight (or at least tied with HRVY). 10/10
I agree. I’ve already decided if she’s voted off tonight then I’m done with Strictly. The show should be purely about the dancing and she’s the best one on it by a mile.
best ever quickstep think Faye and Giovanni quickstep was much better this was great showbiz but have seen better footwork.
@@joshjones5062 As much as i enjoyed faye and Giovanni’s quickstep their choreography was much more basic and traditional than this. For me there was just something sooo special about this dance

HOW DID THIS NOT GET A 30!! The sheer elegance of the entire dance was impeccable! The execution was amazing, especially the benchography and covering the floor. Ballroom hold was amazing! This gave me LaLa land vibes and I was here for it from beginning to end. This is another perfect *10* from me! If they are in the bottom two, something is really wrong!!
Totally agree it should've got 30! That's just Craig holding back for the most nit-pickiest of reasons yet again...

BEST DANCE OF THE NIGHT! could have been a ten from me if they hadn't broke hold in the middle of the dance. I couldn't find anything wrong in her footwork, Maisie truly owned that dance, she was light, she was bright, she didn't miss a heel lead, she looked STUNNING in that dress, her frame and her posture were wonderful, her synchronization and her musicality were SPLENDID... it really made me smile. Fantastic dance from start to finish, loads of proper content, brilliant movement round the floor, all the section on the bench was great, the cartwheel at the end was just terrific flawless footwork as I've said, Maisie was glued to Gorka all the way through, her feel for the music was just wow... It was a ballroom routine at it's best!!! WE NEED MORE ROUTINES LIKE THIS ON STRICTLY: it all came together - the music, the choreography, the outfits... truly it was just a hair from perfection. In one word: ENCHANTING!!!

Gave them my votes the whole way through and again last night
Sadly I noticed the mistake on the bench but it is so small I'm not taking a mark down mainly because I'm not Craig. This had everything, Swing, Tap, Charleston but most importantly it was a pure Quickstep. Gorka has outdone himself with choreography. Cartwheels, chases, spin rotation, hopscotch section, promanades, Callaway section was so bright and springy. The quick quick slow was on point and I know she was struggling with that. Her footwork was unrecognizable compared to her American it was like a pros. No gapping whatsoever which is imposesive because Quickstep is always usually the gappiest dance due to the speed and her topline was perfect, she has such a natural frame. Not easy to dance on a bench too. Nice to see a softer side to her which will hopefully get her more votes. Her best dance to date by far. *10/10*
Swivels on a bench in heels is probably impossible 😀
@@marksouthall4508 she also got out of sync at the beginning whilst swivelling though. It does not matter I still give her 10, I wouldn't deduct a mark for that

How Craig gave HRVY a 10 and not this, is just ridiculous. This was easily one of the best Quicksteps in strictly history and easily deserved a 30. Dance of the night by far.
Couldn't agree more. It's almost like the judge's are letting Hrvy off for every mistake he makes. It's like his mistakes are invisible to the judges. It's obvious Hrvy's choreography was the easiest out of everyone's tonight and street dance is very easy to do in my opinion. Hrvy missed a few steps in his routine and he had some timing issues, but if course the judge's can't see that smh. How did this not deserve a 10? Maisie has much harder choreography than anybody else tonight and it's very hard to cartwheel in heels. And a 9 for just missing a bloody step nobody could really see? Ok craig. Best dance of the night by far.
@@tillyjames4388 Finally someone who isn't worshipping HRVY's every move. I agree his dance was too simple and didn't have ANY emotion so couped with the mistakes, why it got a perfect score is beyond me (considering Karim's was much more powerful and emotional last year and yet Craig was whining about lack of emotion)
misogyny at its finest unfortunately Stephen, if it was HRVY making that tiny mistake she did he’d still get a 10. I hope she wins the show, she’s the youngest but also the best dancer, I always use my 3 votes for her.
@@lalice663 thing is HRVY did have issues where he was out of sync with Janette, yet he still got a perfect score. I also now put my 3 votes to her, she should win, but it will likely be Bill, despite not being the best.
@@stephenbrown2512 I agree, the thing is with Bill I think everyone’s voting for him due to popularity which is unfair as not only he’s had previous experience in ballroom dancing but he’s also not that great if I’m being 100% honest. I think he is sometimes stiff.
I don’t know why this makes me cry, it’s just so wonderful! Such a great song choice and lovely costumes, voted for her and think she’s fantastic.

Motsi is giving bill special treatment she scored him and and JJ the same and even the head judge Shirley gave JJ higher .... I don’t think it’s fair and to be honest I think motsi should not be a judge
Just read that Bill only had 2 dance lessons 40 years ago so that doesn't really count ^_^

Apart from last year when Kelvin and Oti absolutely deserved to win 100%!! Some years I have watched and I have wondered if there is something going on behind the scenes to fix it!! It seems Maisie can do no right at all. She is working her ass off every single week!! She deserves to go through and through. No more and no less she is extremely talented. PERIOD!!

British voters have double standards for women
The whole thing's fixed. She was in the dance off twice because the producers put her in it. First time to get rid of Max after he accidentally swore on live TV and the second time was most likely because she allegedly went out with Harvey when she wasn't supposed to and that was likely her punishment. Votes have no bearing on who leaves the show, and they never have.
My opinion is that we don’t like show offs and unfortunately Maisie is a total show off plus it’s obvious she is no beginner. Therefore the public will not let her win. Unless it’s rigged of course!

@@carolineh1060 Also there wasn't a lot of room on that bench to swivel in my opinion. I don't think that she could of full on swiveled anyways. I was looking at Gorka but he probably did swivels but still it look difficult to do it.

HRVY was better I'd say second best dance
His routine was my least favourite. He does nothing for me when he dances. So robotic and no light and shade. Today’s routine was no different as soon as he finished I didn’t think he would get a 10 cause in real time I saw so many timing issues, he was very off beat at times. It was so dull. Maisie was a professional in this routine can’t get any better than that, sorry.

Maisie has every reason to be confident in herself and her abilities. Why have we learnt that young women should be insecure and in denial of their own talent to be palatable? This will be remembered as one of *the* iconic strictly dances, and Maisie as one of the best dancers strictly has ever seen - and rightly so!

The fact CRH didn't give this magnificent Quickstep a 10 - it had everything, and was like a Showdance - means I have finally had enough of his antics and replace either him or Bruno with Anton next year. Maise is a fantastic dancer and can do Ballroom and Latin.
