Really appreciate you taking the time to organize this and write it out. I'm a beginner jazz pianist and this really helped. Great video!

I appreciate your brief comments beneath the score, not only because they tell what you were doing theory-wise, but also where you were going with the solo mentally. So many parts of this video could be paused and imitated for hours by aspiring jazz pianists. What software do you use to create the scrolling score with the coordinating piano key diagram?

Sooo... a friend wants me to play at her wedding, and i'm preparing a full repertoire. I've got several nice classical pieces, I lead into Debussy's clair de lune (why does this not get played more at weddings?). I'm wondering... anyone think this would be a good piece to add? Debussy leads into jazz nicely, and I feel like I can do some Gershwin after a piece like this, though I'm wondering if it's too... mildly melancholy for a wedding?

Absolutely brilliant! Is there any way to get hold of the music of this? It's going to take so long to write all this out :D

The beginning sounds similar to Miles Davis' Flamenco Sketches...
