"Best band ever" is not a stretch. Great guys. Great sound. Great new album.
The ending of Hanging In is aggressively addictive. I can listen to it forever. It just makes everything better.
Best band ever to be apart of this world and in any era. unique music, distinctive motives, this band was born to be in the hall of fame worldwide and I know this cause I listen to music from classical to punk, rock, metal, rap, opra, to classic 80's like journey and Ozzy osbourne an this band in my head fits in right next to Ozzy osbourne in my top choices of music so I truly believe they should be in the hall of fame worldwide they deserve it. And to believe there so close as friends that should always be a dream. friendships normally don't last and to hear that they have known eachother since they were all children just earns my respect and touches me cause I haven't had more then 2 friends that I would take a bullet for in my whole life. I'm 22. One I met on ps3 and the other I've known since elementary school practically since I was 5 or 6. lol so I can imagine how close these guys to eachother. And are to be able to deal with eachother all the problems, ups, downs, good, bad moments. I'm sure it's nothing. compared to life itself. as long as they have eachother I'm sure life should or still feels like a dream come true. they've already earned more then my respect keep up the extraordinary work and it will pay off. You guys are outstanding 🤜🤛✊🤝
And to be honest I have never had an erge to watch live videos of anything EVER. till I found these guys.
The More I Sleep was one of my favorite albums this year by accident. There's nothing better than jumping into an album by a band you don't really know and feeling a connection to it before it even finishes.
They really are the best band ever, that's a hill I'm more than willing to die on.
best band name ever
One of Scotland's greatest exports!
These guys just do it for me. The last 2 releases from them have been genius. They just keep getting better and better. One of the best live performances Ive seen in a while too.

They're back! They're back! They're back! I'm crying
How I love when it's Cheryl Waters !
Love those guys so much.
Since their first album (back in 2009) they had something interesting going around.
There's just something special about irish/scottish indie bands that started around that time. WWPJP, Frightened Rabbit, Funeral Suits. All amazing
Someone Else's Problem... what a great tune.
These guys are amazing. So talented and humble.
finally found one more interesting band, thats why im glad to subscribe to kexp, they always bring something good
Damn their lives are as incredible as the studio thing! Great voice and beautiful instrumentals.
They just rule. Album #4 and they still got the edge. They didn't turn nowadays Biffy or anything. It's rare, it's great, it's comforting.
"The More I Sleep, The Less I Dream" - great song!
KEXP, thanks for having on such good guests, love it
Yes. thank you!
Great music, great energy!!!
And if I may notice something
, these guys look healthy and if that's the case love them even more! No need for drugs to make awesome music.
Absolute lads.
The guitar sound is incredible, sound like really spiritual shimmer with overdrive, but so fucking good.
What’s odd is off stage, they are all a bit bashful, quiet, but so, so kind. I love them as musicians and humans.
Amazing. And thank you thank you thank you KEXP for giving great music a leg up.
Im so glad i watched this, thank you so much for this beautiful thing!!
Just bought a ticket to see them play in San Diego in July :)
Great performance! Amazing, atmospheric music!
Beautiful
Great band and fantastic live show! Love the new album and was lovely meeting you gents in Amsterdam.
At times, these guys give off big Joy Division vibes. Not the singing so much but the instruments. I wonder if Joy Division was an influence on them
First time hearing these guys. I like it.
a band so worth seeing live
I can't wait to see them Saturday in Chicago!
Nice to see you guys
What a beautiful music! Fantastic! Thx so much, best band ever 🤟

First time listening. awesome!
yet another link to the national which i didnt know about - the national really is just a big family
YES!
I passed up a chance to see these guys in Los Angeles. A good buddy of mine went and got a chance to meet them. I regret it so hard now.
Awe man! I caught them in Chattanooga Tennessee and met them as well! Very nice guys.
I missed that show too..saw them twice in San Diego and it was amazing. They're really cool dudes.
Just having fun
Superb x
this is best
😮cool
after hearing how they wrote this album, I can hear it for sure. This album is all bangers, where before they all kinda of got muddy together.
Good god
Started video on my ten min smoke break at work
Earned a point for coming back an hour late
Seeing these guys live for the prices they charge for shows is highway robbery. Their albums are incredible but the live performances are something else.
Their name echoed in my brain with Kathryn Schulz's last joke at TED : "Where is my jet-pack Chris?
I believe that here the crux were the voice: especially on the second song with a bit of a deep solemnity I almost recognize but not precisely... It reminds me some exotic Spanish/French ska punk singers… "Los Tres Puntos" (songs: "Les vaches et le prisonnier", "gregarit", "urgence', "terre de liberté", "Nostalgia", "ninos de la calle") and other bands in the same 90's hot wave (Scamemberts, "It' a Frenchy Reggae Party" (3 compilations) etc.) I don't know whether all those groups have survived or not due to the crisis. Although far leftist, the guys vocals resonate quite like infantrymen sometimes, even Russian one… Oh, they release an new album: Eldorado! Hey Chilly: what are you waiting for?! A bunch of dirty anti-capitalist not craving for papers to immigrate in the US… It would be a premiere! Would'nt be? (I also recommend : "Je Dépense donc je suis" means I spend (money) there I am" which is a playword inspired by Descartes. In fact, etymologically, 'penser' (thinking/pensar in spanish) are related to 'peser' (weight/pesar in spanish) and to latin pendeo, pondus therfore spend via Indo-European. 'Pesa' in spanish is rendered by: it matters!) "Are you ready"?
I get it! "8°6 Crew": Album: "Bad bad reggae" (1998): song : "prohibition" among others.
And, to be exact: "Vieille France" would be right on as a message to our old Atlantic ally… (Lyrics are on the Net easily translatable.)
PS1: However, personally, politically, I've evolved toward the center of the exchequer although still with disruptive (but constructive) remedies.
PS2: I wonder if the Algerian band of the 90's civil war Intik would have been influenced too by 8°6 Crew or not?
No double like option? Very nice work guys.
Who ever thumbs downed this deserves to be in a minor fender bender where no one gets hurt, with someone that has shitty insurance and it should be on a really inconvenient day.
Lolololol. Best comment ever!!!!
You monster.
12:11 what's this? adam calling darren by his real name instead of "peter"?
Lol
Like a fine fucking Wine...
Manic Street Preechers sons
Tony Lamosa first song proper does remind me of A Design For Life at points
@@o.binwheelie9733 that's The point
@@tonylamosa3 blue meanies.
Su voz es un poco parecida a la de Foals.
This reminds me of Foals combined with the Strokes. Or Foals without the math. Or The Strokes with Foals singer. whichever one works for you.
or we were promised jetpacks
The band is too good. That’s obvious. But can we appreciate the studio they’re in? They look like they’re playing out in space wtf lol
Lmao true
Dr. Dre, U.S.A.
Decent but let’s not get carried away Brett from LA. Saw these lads supporting Idlewild in Dundee. Idlewild were fucking awesome.Nae bad
That old lady PBS announcer stays on stage with them ! huh ? really ??
What does her age have to do with anything?
Put some respect on her name. I think it's Cheryl...she's amazing.
She’s not an old lady.
Fakoff
Guy sings out of tune. Maybe in purpose. But still.
if you're really clever you might notice that there are some other bands that you might actually like! all you have to do is click off the video, i know its been a year since you commented but im not sure if you're smart enough to notice the reccomended videos on the side, hope that helps :)
One other thing ...... guitars made to sound like keyboards ? SUCK !!!
Beautiful
