Great video, I have left my 2005 MR2 in with my Toyota dealer as the carpet on the passenger side was sodden. A Vax extractor vacuum taking out over a litre of water!
They have cleared the drainage hoses and also replaced a broken front suspension spring which was broken.
I've had mine for 16 years, definitely a keeper in spite of getting a Supra too.

Ace video. We've got the same problem and you've shown how to deal with it. Maybe also worth checking where the water finally exits the sill area on to the ground to make sure that is clear as well.

Nice video. My MR-S was flooded because this drain was blocked and I had to strip the entire interior out to drain the floorpan of the car. Well worth checking this drain ahead of time!

Yeah 100% much less time if you catch it before it happens.
I used to give the one on my Mx5 a blow out with an airline every month

Cheers for the handy tip, our next door neighbour has one of these and you can hear the water sloshing about! I said I knew the drains blocked up but I didn't know where they were. Will show this video. 😊👍

By far the best video dealing with this issue. Awesome! You answered every question I had about how to do this.

Hey man, great vid! I thought I was going to need to get a new soft top or something, because I’d only ever see the water build up when I put the top down. Just curious, would this layout probably be the exact same as pre-facelift model? I just myself a VM180 TRD that was sitting in Japan for 15+ years unused

Man mine was SO CLOGGED I had water literally up to the cupholder.... I Don't know how I didnt get any mold or anything I dint even try to soak the water. When I opened the side vent I couldnt believe it. Like legit ROCKS stuck in there no way water could leave. Now I have to do the actual vent in the rear but I have no idea how to reach it. SO much nasty stuff there too but oddly enough its so satisfying cleaning this shit and knowing your car wont flood anymore lol.
