Sweet ride man! My parents had a bought a new 85 half ton 4x2 with the 305 when I was little, and my first car was an 86 half ton 4x2 350. I miss mine, but the salt ate it alive. Nice to see there are still some survivors out there!! Hang on to it

I was surprised to hear a flute-like tone when you started up this 1985 Chevy Suburban. I thought the Suburban still used a scary buzzer until at least 1987.

Two tone, i had a black and silver, '85 1/2 ton with a weak 305 in it. Now i got an '80 3/4 with a Gen V 454. Damn wish these trucks had a non computer 4 speed OD offered in the 80s. Shit the 454s got toilet bowl injection before an OD gearbox.
