I don’t know about other churches around Nagaland but surely I can say that my church is doing a good job. They do have a life saving fund and they name it relief fund and had been helping many those who were in need. M proud of my church
It’s true that front seats are reserved for rich people, and the funny part is that again those rich people will come very late to church and go directly to sit in the front. No hate towards any churches but yes even the church ministry give more importance only to Rich people.
I have friends whose parents are very rich whenever the church ministry people see us they only talk to my friend very nicely and doesn’t really care to talk to me.
IN SHORT- THE AMOUNT OF PRIVILEGE THEY GIVE TO RICH PEOPLE IS UNCANNY

Much needed message....Talking about the weakness of churches seems wrong to God, but it's an institute that influences everyone,...Nagaland's church in particular needs a total upheaval....no wonder youngsters have begun to join combined/ universal churches for a reason.

I have experienced same thing in our church,i never forget that day,it was mother's day, we came early for devotional service since we never get place to sit if we go after 9 am, we were sitting in front ,one deacon came and told us to go back, another deacon told him,let them sit as it is since they've come early, but the first deacon told him,we have to keep reserve for rich people since they give lots of donations and all.... that's our church.

There were many words that was said correctly but mostly the question I always ponder is why do the servants of God say everyone is equal in the Church but why do they reserve the front seat for the rich people?
The believers too can be in need. We have a big mission right in front of our eyes. Sometimes people not only need sermons but monetary help. And that speaks bigger than the big sermons. We need to introspect.

School colleges run by baptist church don't allow poor families of baptist to study whereas Catholic runs institutions help poor Catholic students based on their financial status.

When we talk about church , many people take church as a building..But the true believers are the church..We r the church...Yes it's not wrong to have a big church but we should understand that the church we are attending has sound doctrine or biblical doctrine that will literally help the believers to draw near Christ .

Much needed in today's naga Christian society......Church worker in today's naga society is like getting a govt job. No spiritual work but just doing the formalities out of obligation.

Some people in Nagaland unfairly blame all pastors for the mistakes of a few. They criticize easily but forget to appreciate the good pastors. We need to remember that pastors are just like us-they make mistakes too. Instead of blaming them all, we should also see that most pastors are good and treat everyone fairly.

Now the churches has also become a business. When my dad was hospitalised battling for cancer(last stage) the Church members hardly visited him and even during his funeral they didn't even give us company like in every funeral the church youth members will come and spend some time with the deceased family. Before that they keep coming asking for rice every month and collections for women, for female members in the house for father and mother association for the youth and western women and i don't know what not and there is work in church they always called my dad and he never said no them, whenever there is work at the church he'll wake up early in the morning and go for the work. We have a big family on top of this the church coming asking for collections after collections and when we are in need of them they'll just pretend like we don't have anything to do with you and we don't know you. I don't need money just come and pray nothing more than that we ask for. Now a days the churches are not for poor people like us. All the church leaders are from rich and high class families and we hardly find some who work spiritually.

The one big difference that I find between Baptist and Catholic church is that the Catholic Priests visits the poor families more often and prays for them and puts a smile on their faces unlike our Baptist Church Pastors that visits only the rich people. Everyone should be treated equally and don't turn a blind eye to the poorer families dear Pastors...

Not a single visitation for six years was the reason why I left the big church and going to a small church where pastor care about everyone of us whether rich or poor. Big church ministers should not make an excuse saying we cannot visit every individual, you are receiving from every individual so you must give to every individual as well. It's so easy to say and judge but when we are into that task it's hard for a person to manage. It's just my experience am sharing to you.
