For me, it's the absolute re3verse of everything you're saying. It's when I have limitless free time that I feel the burnout the most. I have no energy. None. I don't want to do anything but stare at UA-cam all day, or, at the most, read. It's so TIRING sitting in this stupid little room of mine, and I CAN'T write because there's just nothing at all going on in my brain. Nothing.
I think you've got the answer right here! :) If you're feeling like you have too much time, try an inner child date (I talk about this toward the end), go for a walk, etc. Then it sounds like the little room and the screen are just not doing it for you! Can you change your format? I find that writing by hand can really get me unstuck. What happens if you just force yourself to handwrite three pages worth of whatever? It can even be, "Ugh, I don't want to do this, this is stupid, why am I doing this," just as long as you keep your hand moving. Usually, I find that there are things hiding in my brain that I wasn't even aware of, and once you find them, you can push back against the negativity there. I'm cheering you on!
Very good video. My stuck problem, is my latest book. I just finished it. It’s really good in my opinion, but my problem is I’m only at 60,000 words and now I’m stuck to come up with quality chapters to match the rest of the book. I dread just having to ride a bunch of junk that the reader hate just up my page count.
I have noticed the more rules about writing, rules about structure of a story to be correct and accepted makes it very hard and mechanical. That takes away all the creativity and spontaneity and joy out of writing. Those techniques!!!

Great video. You have a wonderful way of speaking and inspiring others 🙏 I'm in a rut and this is exactly what I needed to hear!
Aww, thanks for your kind words! We're so glad to hear it was helpful. Very happy writing!
The sound on this (your headphones perhaps?) is absolutely making me dizzy, and a little nauseous.
