The relief they felt when they found out that their daughter wasn't ill instilled an empathy and compassion for families with children who do have the illness. A beautiful story, and a beautiful soul.
Lived in Tennesse as a young girl...some of the kindest, nicest, most honest people you' d ever want to meet. Miss them to this day.

We do need more traditional family oriented television shows. I watch very little tv anymore because my kids pickup on everything. Last Man Standing is the only newer tv show I watch. If the tv is on, it's on MeTV, which shows older television shows. My kids laugh at Gilligan's Island and I don't have to worry about what they're going to say.

I believe "garbage in/garbage out," so I refuse to watch most of today's TV. Lucifer, Scandal, Revenge, most reality shows - no thank you. Bring back Ozzie & Harriet, Father Knows Best, Leave It To Beaver, Dennis the Menace. We were kinder, because programs were kinder.

I just think tv shows on tv are so stupid among other things, I don't watch much anymore.
So sorry to hear Scott & his wife have a daughter that was born so sick at birth. Just wondering if Scott's wife may have had a flu shot when she was pregnant. Have read some of the vaccines cause problems.

The reason why shows aren't on that are good and wholesome is because they don't last long and get cancelled. I don't know how many really, really GOOD shows, I mean, GOOD shows, INTELLIGENT shows have got cancelled for the fact that they are TOO good. They aren't stupid enough or violent enough or tacky enough, SO, they get cancelled. My humble opinion is, 99% of what is on tv is just crap, they fall in the too stupid, too violent or too tacky category and only 1% are what I consider good. I hardly watch any tv these days. Thursdays are the only day I actually sit from 7-10. Wednesdays follows and the rest of the days, I don't watch much tv because there really aren't any shows I consider worth my time watching and that I think are so bloody stupid, I can't believe they're still on.
