⚠ Because a few people have already drawn attention to it, there is a newer and mostly better alternative to "Armorsmith Extended" and "Craftable Armor Size" , that I didn't knew of before, called "Equipment and Crafting Overhaul (ECO)" that basically does the same things but in a more stable way because it is not dependend on other frameworks or mods like "AWKCR" that often lead to bugs and other issues. So if you're building your load order from scratch, better get this mod instead and if you're using AWKCR up to this day, consider switching to ECO if it doen't cause you any inconvenience! Thanks everyone mentioning that!
Personality I would use EVB over CBBE, because it works for both male and female characters. That’s CBBE’s biggest problem, it only works for female characters and not all of us play as a female sole survivor. Still I do agree with your decision of having Shadow Boost as a must have, that mod is definitely the best one on the list.
You should add "This Settlement Does Not Need Your Help - BS Defence Redone" It makes it so the defense rating for your settlements actually works like it should and takes the RNG out of the equation of whether your settlements will successfully defend themselves, even without your help. So then you can just play the game without having to rescue a settlement every 5 minutes.
I am gonna say this now if you have a low end pc and if you have get DXVK it changes DirectX to vulkan it super good trust me you should include it. Its very good trust me also love your video :D
Not just low end PCs. There's something wrong with my 6800XT GPU where the fps collapses after about 20 minutes of play with DirectX11 games. I fixed it for most games (disable Deep Sleep states) but it didn't help with Fallout 4. Using the Vulkan Renderer mod has finally fixed it.
Why would you even recommend Armorsmith extended, let alone call it a must have even it’s tied to the notoriously bloated AWKCR mod. Not to mention ECO does pretty much what AWKCR does but much lighter and no need for redundant frameworks
You might be right but this is about my own preference of mods which I have been using for many years and never had any problems with, thats why I never switched. But thanks for your note, I may give it a try soon!
@@thatMPSG it’s definitely worth considering. I don’t really want to recommend AWKCR for new installers because I’ve seen it cause more than enough grief in support channels. It works better for modders that already have the ropes of what to do but even then more people are ditching it by now.
@@Moparmutt1976 that’s just Sunk-Cost Fallacy. If people will bust their ass stuffing 400 weapon mods into their LO, they can handle removing AWKCR from their LO lol
If it works, it works. My game is an original install from the game's original release date and my mods are built upon older mods such as AWKCR and Armorsmith Extended. Never had problems with them as far as I know of. "It just works" to quote Todd. When the time comes that I build a new computer, I may give some of these modern game changing mods like ECO a try.
Mods don’t change their language when you change the ingame language. You have to download the mod in your desired version. Simply search for it on the nexus but for you to know, not every mod comes in another language version.
@@thatMPSGI have another question, do you know if the mods are safe? I mean, do you know if they don't have viruses in them? Also, are the mods you show compatible with each other?
I've never known any mod to have a virus. Many mods are not compatible with each other if they do similar things. You need to read the mod Description page and Discussion pages. If you're new to modding, start with The Midnight Ride.
