Iceland 2023/2024 Day 1

On December 29 Steve and Peggy returned to visit Iceland for the fifth time.
Our 5th Wedding Anniversary is New Years Eve and we couldn't think of a better place to go to celebrate. On Day 1, we arrive in the darkness, drive southeast and witness the sunrise at 11:20am. We visit places we've been and places we haven't. By the time we check in to our hotel and get some dinner, we are exhausted. It was a great first day back.
