Long time DA player here. Really enjoying the content. Dark Angels right now play the way I’ve always wanted them to and it has brought me back to 10th Ed. Primarily resilient combat units backed up with some shooting and mission play elements. My only minor gripe is that I wished one of our codex detachments could give us this play style. But very happy overall.
Thank you! Agree with all your points there, I do wish the unforgiven detachment focused around something that isn't being battleshocked, i don't really understand that logic in rules writing
I run ICTF because I just prefer to play a DA detachment with my DA. Fully understanding that it isn't optimal...but ita fun to watch an opponent jump out and punch the middle of the board, sit back...wait...wait and then counter punch the crap out of the middle. Easier now with ICTF vowed objectiveS!
I'm really excited for all the Dark Angels discussion. Seems kind of hard to find. Also I am struggling mightily with Tau. I'm incredibly frustrated with their ludicrous amount of shots and being able to ignore cover.
Great video! I'd love to see a more comprehensive video, or series of them. Or even just a guide of what to expect from each army. I've been playing for about 3 years and there's factions I have never battled against and plenty I've only played once or twice.
ICC in found are amazing into guard. DWK tank bullgryn better than they tank us, but ICC using sustained d1 absolutely wreak them. They also can wipe out Leontis and all his various bodyguards in one activation.
I got absolutely crushed 3-85 against a friend with the battle sisters, these meltas are crazy. Also he indeed screened the battlefield by T2 (him going first) and I could only deploy far deep in my deployment zone. I feel like my knights are as durable as regular space marines. I struggle to see what I can do with a very melee army with knights and ICC against meltas and grenade launchers. Any extra tips from experience ?
That's an interesting one because I'm not sure they'd see play right now, if I could take the Dwing champion, I think I would, +1 to advance/charge and a free heroic, I'm all in on that leading a squad of Knights
Been loving the DA content. Looking for content to improve my overall game. Thank you
Thank you!

Or how about going 0-5 against tyranids in 10th.
Good stuff as always!! Def hate playing sisters 😭
Bloody nightmarish army right now!!
Thank you for these. These are really informative.
Glad you're finding them useful!
He says "if you have fights first it should be in your army"... ahem... Lion El'Jonson. 😢😂
Made my Thursday! :)
Glad it did!

Ah Paul is in Black Crow colours this weekend, one of our entire ITT teams is at that tournament! See you there!

Give me back my deathwing command squad and the ability for the "character" models to lead different terminator units
That's an interesting one because I'm not sure they'd see play right now, if I could take the Dwing champion, I think I would, +1 to advance/charge and a free heroic, I'm all in on that leading a squad of Knights
Would be good to know how DA match into Tau
Overall, it's pretty strong, we overwhelm them and get into combat pretty swiftly
What do you think of a match up against Death Guard?
