Hey thanks for the tutorial could you please give some suggestions on how to get an underwater floating hair effect? Like what kind of parameters do I need to play with? Turbulence I guess ? But your input on it would be helpful
@Faebe when i bake the simulation (without disk cache ) and hit r3ender nothing shows in the render except the monkey, but if i dont bake or bake using disk cache it works fine plz help me why is this happening ? i would really appreciate it
Either you have some different settings than me in your preferences or your computer is a powerhouse. Mine won't render anything that good in the render preview tab. It's nothing but noise. If I pause the animation, it will render it to some degree but it still looks bad. If the animation is playing, forget about it.
No you can push the limits further but yeah its not the best. But for some mid range shots its good enough if you look more into the style and material of the hair👌🏼

Yes turbulence is a good idea and try to play around with the values. If you want I can try it out and do a turorial about it :)
Isthere a way to do dynamics with the new hair system? Or Only with particles?

This is faster than xgen right??... How can I export a dynamic hair from render to Unreal and put it in the sequencer for a render? ..

It's not your fault, but that looks like garbage. Is that as limited as Blender is hair simulation is?
