Not really.. I have seen decrease in number of patient for GP in tier 3 city because we have many specialist available just 100 steps further.. This is in gorakhpur..

No one visits a gastroenterologist for a stomach ache or a neurologist for an headache

So super specialists exist but they are just printing money and not focusing on giving quality services..

..if you want a job with decent pay(1-1.5lpm) anywhere you want with less stress and responsibilities you can take family medicine... MD/DNB family med doctors easily earn 80k-1lpm with relaxed lifestyle and flexible work location...but you can never earn like a superspecialist..the choice is yours... if you want to earn like superspecialist you need to have your own setup build your patient base and run it as business which is very stressful to manage...incase of hyperspecialist also they have to be the best of the best to become a brand for that niche area and should develop networking for referrals along with updating continuously which is also kind of hard if you dont have interest in that area...
