I’m going to try adding the curly ribbon to my tree this year! I think I’d like to pick up some striped ribbon like you used. Your tree decorating videos definitely have influenced me these past few years. Thank you!
Great lesson. 😊 I never got the hang of having that pretty ribbon effect, so I just used bead or tinsel garlands, but I gave up on even those a few years ago. Lots of wired ribbon in my stash so I might just try it for a change.👍🎄🎀☺️
My favorite was the loops look with the longer tail, I need to try that for a change lol I always get stuck with the same look because I didn’t know what else to do with the ribbon 🎀 For the top of my tree 🌲 I made a huge bow and I let the tails fall naturally. Thank you for the tips. PS I looooove your last year tree 🌲 soooo classic. Beautiful work !!!
I’m actually one of those few people that prefer the wrap around just because I think it’s cuter than all these other ribbon designs people come up with.
Ya, thank goodness we have UA-cam, Instagram, and TikTok to let us know all of our mistakes in home decor (and every other aspect of our lives). How’d we ever manage before? 🤔
@@LechicchediChicca01I read YOUR comment as sarcastic, so if I misunderstood then I apologize. But honestly, if you’ve been doing something in your own home that has always seemed ok until you watch a video, then how can it be wrong?
I happened to come across your channel by accident tonight, I was looking for a simple way to decorate my Tree this year, and was wanting simple but elegant, And your tree is the perfect one I want I have some lovely ribbon with Red Tartan on and the old fashioned Red Truck which I happen to love, So my thought was Just Lights R/T Ribbon and red berry picks I have ordered, How you did your garland on your other video is exactly how I do mine. I am hoping its not going to be too much.
Your tree is beautiful. I wonder if I could find wired ribbon that is weather proof to do a tree like this for my yard? Hmmm....now I really want to do this. Thanks for more inspiration.🎄❤️🎄
Thank you for your inspiration! Im thinking of doing a beach-themed tree this year. The ribbons will create a great effect. Where did you buy the picks?
I loved this video and now looking for ribbons to buy 😃 but I wish you had some links for your picks which are so beautiful... Lots of love Christina from Scotland, big fan over here ✋❤
I love that tree! Where did you get it? I'm looking for an artificial tree to use this year because we have a new puppy. I feel it will be more stable. It's hard to find one that looks realistic.
Totally disagree. I read this comment first then watched the video and barely heard her say it at all. She did great. This was really informative and I’m going to try it this year! Thanks!!
Excellent presentation. Gives me the courage to say, "I can do this!"
I love the bow technique with the long tails flowing down the tree. So so pretty ❤
Thank you! 😊
I agree that was the best with these ribbons!
Perfect timing. I am wanting to change up the ribbons on my tree. You demonstrate different techniques and made it easy. Thank you for sharing
Glad it was helpful!
It's very pretty, it will be beautiful when finished. I've never used ribbon in the tree, guess I never got the hang of it.

So glad you've enjoyed the videos & have fun decorating!
I didn't think to use smaller pieces of the ribbon. I always use long pieces. Thank you for the tip.
The methods you use are great 👍
Glad it was helpful!
I’m loving all the Christmas content!
That was genuinely helpful and informative. Thank you so much. (Your tree ribbon looks simply lovely!)
Thank you! 😊
Great tutorial! I’m going to try some of these, and try not to strangle my tree this year. Lol. I am enjoying the early Christmas videos ❤
Have fun decorating! 🩷
Love it!! Will have to figure out how to do my 4’ tree lol
My tree is about 2 feet. I'm thinking smaller format ribbon.

Thanks to this video I realized that I've always gone wrong when decorating my Christmas tree! 😅

Thankyou so much for the ribbon tips! My ribbon came out beautiful this year!!
Beautiful! Thank you so much for showing how to do this, I really wanted to try ribbon on the tree this year, now I know exactly how to!
Love all of them.
Wonderful. Thank you

Sounds like a beautiful, classic combo!
So pretty! I am definitely going to try this technique this year!
Have fun!
Great ideas - cant wait to try them on my tree this year. (Just bought ribbon!)
Have fun!
Beautiful 🤩
Girl that tree is a mess but great tutorial for your style
I love it! It’s so unique and gorgeously out of the box 💕

Thanks for watching! You can often find thicker velvet or burlap wired ribbon at Michaels that usually lasts well outdoors.
@@thediymommy thank you. 😊

The picks were from Michels a few years ago.

Cascade and loops👏👏👏👏👏
My favourites too!
Magnifique😊
I really loved the white ribbon made into bows! Where did u get the picks from?
Beautiful! Love the look. When adding picks to the tree, how many do you recommend using when decorating a 7.5 foot tree?
I use the tucking method since I saw your video a few years ago.😊
Very pretty tfs
I love that tree! Where did you get it?
I'm looking for an artificial tree to use this year because we have a new puppy. I feel it will be more stable. It's hard to find one that looks realistic.
Which of these techniques work on a real tree? I feel like “tucking” is harder to do. Thanks!
I'd probably do the coiling method. If I was to do tucks on a real tree, I'd use floral wire or twist ties to help hold it in place.
You do the lights first?
Where did you get the picks that look like twigs? I love those.
From Michaels a few years ago!
How do I know how much ribbon and balls to purchase for my 7 and 1/2 ft tree. What is the rule of thumb per feet if there is one?
I use about 20 yards for my tree with extra for wrapping gifts. It depends on the look you want!
5:30 I can’t find the bow 😂
Why not use a real tree.
Some people have allergies
You say “sort of” too often.
Nervousness sometimes
