I really like how bro is literally living my dream, He has his own RX7, he has his own workshop, he has his own tools and a lot of knowledge! Sadly i live on small polish village and i dont think i'll ever be able to get an RX7 but im still happy to watch other people enjoy it! Thanks for great videos
Thanks for the support man! :) Never say never! For me everything started out very slow aswell... Working on my 2001 Passat in my driveway at home a few years ago. But things will change man and I hope you can also get your dream car soon!
@@mam3zelektrotechniki Thanks man :) I've made a video before showing how you can get your dream car literally 6x cheaper. I'd recommend you go watch that because it really works🙏 That's how I went from a 1.700€ Passat to a R32 Skyline within 6 Months :)
Nice progress! With that aftermarket exhaust, it will cause the boost to go past stock levels. The stock ECU has a fuel cutoff at about 9psi of boost and it cuts fuel to the rear rotor. This is probably the #1 reason why people blow their motors on the FC TII. Detonation on a rotary is much more dangerous than a normal piston engine. It will destroy the apex seals very quickly. To get around the boost spike issue, you will need to port the wastegate hole behind the flapper valve on the turbine housing. I did this on my TII as I have larger downpipe, free flow cat and HKS exhaust. I don't have any boost spikes. Took me about 20 mins to port the hole larger. It is easy to do when the engine isn't in the car. Also, I have the same clutch and flywheel you put on. It was a pain to bleed. You will need to adjust the pedal stroke with the adjustment linkage on the pedal to achieve correct stroke / engagement of the clutch. Good luck!
Thanks for the advice :) I already knew about that issue with the wastegate port being to small on S4's which is why I have taken some precautions to avoid the fuel cut issue. First I went for soft steel apex seals which are going to bend instead of shatter in an event of detonation (Of course I'm not going to let detonation happen willingly but IF detonation occurs, at least the engine is not wrecked). Second I'm going for a fuel cut defender and third an adjustable FPR with slightly bigger secondary injectors. Currently I am still running 4x 550cc as stock, as I temporarily have the stock turbo installed. But since I am switching to a bigger one with an external wastegate, I won't have to worry about the wastegate being to small anymore :) Just need to dial the fueling in then
If you get a spray bottle, you can get a tube that fits between the spray part, and the slave cylinder. You can pump it like a vacuum bleeder and pull fluid through the system. That way you don’t have to pump up the system with the pedal. Also since I don’t think you bench bled the system using a vacuum method is the best way to get all the air out. This project is so cool man. Hope you get a lot of enjoyment from it every time you drive. Edit: is that KJU on your live laugh love poster??????
Thanks man that's actually great advice, I will try that! :) And yes you're right😂 I think everybody needs KJU in their shop telling them to live laugh love...
Since i came across your vid on removing the 13b I liked it and I started watching from the beginning keep up the good work. I am guessing that the exhaust is from racing beat.
Thanks for the support man, I'm glad you're enjoying the videos!🙏 The exhaust is actually a JapSpeed :) Has one on my R32 Skyline back then and the sound was amazing, that's why I decided to run one on the FC aswell.
Thanks man, glad you're enjoying it :) Honestly currently I'm supporting this projects and my hobby purely through savings... I really want to turn creating content like this into my job someday so esch day I'm just working towards that goal✌️
Maybe earlier in the FC's Life... Make sure to check out the rest of the series! I've rebuilt and overhauled the engine and there was no blown coolant seals.
I was thinking about doing a Half/Half bridge port to get some nice braps but keep the driveability. Sadly I had to decide against it because shipping of the porting templates would have taken too long and I was on a tight schedule :(

That exhaust looks so much better, the build is really starting to look good👌

I wonder if the exhaust rusted out because you had a coolant seal blow in the engine so the engine was spitting coolant out the exhaust.

what exhaust did you put? or is it custom?
cool video !
What exhaust did you purchase im looking for one for my FC
It's a JapSpeed full exhaust (Downpipe to muffler)
They usually sound great so I'm curious to find out how it will sound on the FC :)

Congrats on the FC! :) Sure I'd love to, the only problem being that I'm from Germany and I've never been to the US😂
