When Antonio says that Madonna is one of the most committed artists he has ever known, the interviewer asks incredulously, "Reeeally??" Has this woman lived under a rock for the last thirty years? Madonna has always been famous for, among other things, giving her 100 % percent and more in all she does, and for being incredibly committed to all her artistic endeavors.
T.E. Burgos i wholeheartedly agrees with you the millennials dunno shit mind my language i remember all about Evita Jonathan Pryce in to so does Antonio they did a tremendous job as an actors and my fav scene in Evita is many but the Lament shoot was even sad to watch not to be melancholy about it the interviewer shouldn’t be interviewing him without research why hire them eh
Trivia: Before Antonio came to America, he was featured in Madonna's "Truth Or Dare": She is at a party and decides she is going to flirt with him. His wife was not amused. he eventually divorced that wife, came to America, and Married? Melanie Griffith. Then starred opposite Madonna in Evita
Btw she didnt know he was married when she decided to flirt. If ur going to tell it pkeasr tell it accurate. As soon as she found out he was married that was over. That was the narrative of the dinner that nite and her " luck with men"
I speak español and still struggle to understand what he said in this interview. Is he saying that Madonna tackled one scene without first rehearsing? Is that correct?
I don't speak Español and English is my second language, but I understood him perfectly. I even rewatched it after I've read your comment cause I didn't get what was so difficult about what he says. Even his accent, while admittedly quite thick is not really incomprehensible (at least not to my ears), I've got much more difficulty understanding what modern rappers are rapping about and most of them are native English speakers. lol
Madonna was Evita and deserved the Oscar !!!
I agree

@@Iceis_Phoenix Yup. Cherry-pick much? You're dismissed.

"Never get involved with a man who is already involved with someone else." - Madonna (geisha phase) during Larry King interview in 1999.
I speak español and still struggle to understand what he said in this interview. Is he saying that Madonna tackled one scene without first rehearsing? Is that correct?
He's easy to understand and yes you are correct
δon of δekhmet
That’s correct!
This is exactly what he said: She came in dressed as Eva Duarte de Perón; shooting, no rehearsal, nothing...
