Why did you skip driver installation? It looks like there is something appears on your desktop computer as soon as you turn on your mavlink, but it is nothing popping up on mine, so if you have to install drivers why didn't you tell us about it?
Hi David, thanks for the video. I followed your video and I was able to clone 1TB drive to a larger 2TB drive. Like your video, the data cloned perfectly. However, I’m stuck with a 1TB partition in the 2TB drive, and unable to recover the unused space with DiskUtility. Did you come across this problem? Do you have a solution? Thanks.
M K I haven’t come across that issue as I only use mine to mount internal drives. I have no solutions. Contact the manufacturer, maybe they can help you. Sorry
Did you need to format the target drive prior to cloning?

Will this wipe the target hard drive or is everything safe that is already on the drive?
the packaging says it clones. and cloning means replicate so it should not delete.

yes it can be used as daily saving, however you would have to do it manually
How do you EJECT Safely? if you are using it as a docking station?
