WE'RE BACK WITH CHAPTER 4! This movie was amazing and the ending was perfect! But apparently there's a Chapter 5 coming? John Wick might be over for now but we have EARLY ACCESS for The Thing (1982) and I Am Legend (2007) over on our Patreon. I think they shot an ending where John survives. At the grave, the dog was supposed to be reacting to him. If JW5 is coming, they might be going with that ending. I also heard it could be more of a Caine story than a John Wick story. There are other JW universe projects coming or already out: The Continental, about a young Winston in the 70s and Ballerina, following another member of the Ruska Roma, the organisation that raised John.
It's not over. John Wick 5 was confirmed by Lionsgate to be made but its not probably coming for a few more years. Both Keanu and Chad Stahelski (director) said they were gonna take a break from the Wick Universe but that they felt the story had 1 more final chapter. In 2025 their is a spin off called Ballerina that takes place inbetween Wick 3 and 4 and Keanu is confirmed to have a small cameo as Wick.
Don't understand the hate for Winston. If you paid attention in the third movie, John was given a bullet proof suit by the elder. Winston knew that. That's why he shot him in the chest, and not the head! He knew he would somehow survive the fall, and go after the high table. Why do you think he didn't go after Winston, but the elder? 🤔
Yeah and let's not forget that Winston has been the manager since, like the 1970's so he knows his building, and where the likelihood of survival would be biggest - and guided John that way.
Fun fact, the Japanese Continental uses blades and bow and arrows to counter the bulletproof suits as they are only designed to stop bullets but blades such swords, knives and arrow tips can pierce through the material just like how real bulletproof vests work.
Saw this in the theater with my dad and we loved it! It's not the end of John Wick, as Keanu Reeves might play the character one last time, but for now, he's getting the rest he needs
Exactly so many people don’t see it but John knows the only way out is in “death” but who’s to say it’s literal like you said oldest trope in the book.
Now that you finally watched all John Wick's movies I suggest you to go for: The Equalizer, different but they are gold! Hope I can see you react to them.
The overhead shot scene is one of my favorite setpieces in the whole series. It's a reference to Hong Kong Massacre, a game that was inspired by Hotline Miami, which is a top-down shooter with a banger soundtrack and a very distinctive art style. For the fifth film, apparently the writing hasn't even been completed yet, so it could honestly go anywhere. I'd be fine with a prequel, but this was a perfect wrap-up to the series - maybe something about the 'impossible task' that got him in.
Keanu Reeves cut his dialogue down to 380 words. Most of it just saying “yeah”. He gifted his 4 stunt guys with $10,000 personalized submariner watches and the rest of the stunt crew with tshirts that listed all their demises on screen since some did multiple characters. 48:10 Keanu didn’t do the car scenes. They decided he’d get injured too badly so his stunt crew did it. 56:00 the stunt crew went with the director to scout locations and the director was going to do steps on the opposite side but the stunt guys weren’t too thrilled with the challenge. They saw these steps and were salivating over all they could do with them. 1:00:22 I love Donnie Yen playing a blind man. 1:00:56 that’s supposed to be a female dog. Looks like they changed dogs during filming. I’m hoping they will do a prequel that shows John when he meets Helen and wants to leave this world. 1:07:12 I think they killed “John Wick” and he’s off living life somewhere as a different person then at some point he will be brought back.
In regards to the john wick universe, they are coming out with a movie "Ballerina" in 2025 that revolves around one of the ballerinas from the 2nd movie. Anna de Armas is the lead in it and it will apparently have Winston and John wick in it.
Donnie Yen also played the role Ip Man. You guys should check him out in those movies. There's also the guy in the fat suit, Scott Atkins, who is insane and he is badass in Undisputed. Also, the guy who was in charge of the Continental in Japan, also played Scorpion in the 2021 version of Mortal Kombat, and I think he is in that new show Shogun . The cast was phenomenal
I think that one of the things that people missed was that the chic that dedicated the songs over the radio was a throw back to the movie The Warriors. Plus i dont think that John Wick is dead. I just think that its a way for him to stay out of the life.
Winston is john wicks friend, he would never hurt him, he new John would survive if he shot him in his vest Winston has done all he can to protect john he puts himself in danger every time he does things for him.
Once again Winston is not a b*tch. His whole life is the Continental and stuck with John as long as he could. You should notice the pattern that John just does what hame wants and everyone that gets involved with him has their life ruined. He is of course a good guy but that is besides the point. Winston didn't want through his whole life away and end up with nothing for nothing. It's not that hard to understand. Disney movies have us too programmed to think everyone is okay as long as they have the power of "friendship" in the end. Negative 😂😂
I saw this movie in 4dx which has the movies seats and stuff. This movie was awesome and yes. Seeing lance’s character die in the movie after finding out about his passing was definitely sad. This movie was in my top 3 of favorite movies of 2023.
UA-cam didn’t tell me NOTHING 😂this is the one I’ve especially been waiting on 👌🏾 Donnie Yen absolutely killed his role IP Man should go on the list that man is beyond talented, it was really cool seeing Bill Skarsgård in the wick universe I love his pennywise, and still rooting for a Apocalypto reaction it’s a fire movie.
I also agree that if they ended it here, it would be fine. If they do an offshoot on some other character, that's good but let John die in peace. Amazing series
Winston is family, that's why he and John are still tight. The Marquis is just someone on the high table making a power play. And as you can probably tell they are constantly jockeying for position... 56:20 " I need to see some guy tumble down these stairs " ..... 😁 Well... that aged well... 😏 Put a couple IVs in our boy, he'll be fine. John has been "Mostly dead: a few times already... 🤔 I am sure that "Nobody" can make that happen if they wanted to. ( Yes, ya gotta watch that next.) I don't care how they waffle anf flipflop in interviews, Nobody is part of the Continental Cinematic universe, and this movie reinforces that. You guys didn't understand the dynamics between Winston and John. You took everything at face value. They had to act like he was killing John in front of the adjudicator. If he wanted to kill John, it would have been a head shot. He didnt betray him. He actually let escape.
I don’t think he’s dead. He looked at cane and said you owe me, and they said at the beginning the only way out is death… so his death was faked, so he’s out..
Definitely my favorite in the series The action was the best, the characters were the best (love the villain so much, love Donnie Yen too), the story actual felt like it had a finality to it, the gags were funny as fuck, cinematography I feel was even upgraded
You guys should watch the IP MAN movies starring Donnie Yen. The big guy with the cards is wearing a fatsuit. His name is Scott Adkins. He is a beast at fighting. Watch the Undisputed 1-4 movies with him.
Keanu doesnt do the car stunts he has a stubt double who gets hits by the cars also had stunt double for being theowing down the stairs in second movie
THE BEST FUCKIN JOHN WICK MOVIE OF ALL TIME!! ABSOLUTELY MY FAVORITE OUT OF THE ENTIRE FRANCHISE. JUST SO OUTSTANDING. THE FIGHT SCENES, THE DIALOGUE, THE CINEMATOGRAPHY EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS FILM IS CHEF'S KISS. I NEED TO KNOW HOW MANY PANIC ATTACKS DID YOU HAVE WATCHING AND EDITING THIS MOVIE- BLAKEY 😅😂
Donnie Yen is a badass Fighter. You should react to his IP man 1-4 movies and another one called Flashpoint and another naned Dragon Wu Xia. Those are amazin movies. The guy in the fat suit is Scott Adkins also another phenomenal martial artist. You should check out Undisputed 2 and 3, Special Forces, Ninja 1 and 2, Accident Man 1 and 2. Those are good ones from him
The ending is a flash forward imo.. just like breaking bad did during s5.. could be wrong but dog saw something and whined in that last minute or so.. The continental tv show prequel backstory of Winston is 👌🔥 and highly under rated imo.. And imo Donnie yen was the MVP of the movie..
Franchise recommendation for you to react to someday: CHILD'S PLAY, a very fun, scary and interesting saga, which introduced one of the coolest villains in horror, you'll enjoy it.
Did he die???? i dont think so... it was said earlier in movie to be at peace he needed to die, fake death my friends if people believe he's dead he will be free.
We have polls every now and then. We announced an upcoming poll in our Saw 6 reaction that came out a couple of days ago. We'll be taking the top comments from that video and making a poll out of them for what we should react to next
It makes me sad that you only recognize Donnie frickin' Yen by a mediocre Star Wars movie. Compared to the characters Donnie usually plays, what he did in Rogue One was nothing.
it's obvious that one of you two has already seen the film (was with the 3rd part as well) to say exactly the same words or sentences in half of the scenes that are said a few seconds later in the film is quite annoying.

If you guys didn't notice, Killa was played by Scott Adkins another well known martial artist actor under prosthetics, known for the undisputed series

It's amazing how many reactors haven't seen The Warriors and don't get the Huge reference in this movie.
Igly trolling Blake with the “fuck off” at the end is living in my head rent free. The stare into the camera was the cherry on top.😂😂😂
The French guy, is none other than Bill Skarsgård, who also plays Pennywise.
Fun fact, the Japanese Continental uses blades and bow and arrows to counter the bulletproof suits as they are only designed to stop bullets but blades such swords, knives and arrow tips can pierce through the material just like how real bulletproof vests work.

Winston and john had a plan along with Caine they all outsmarted the marquis
Just because there's a tombstone with his name on it, doesn't mean he's dead. That's the oldest trope in the book.
Exactly so many people don’t see it but John knows the only way out is in “death” but who’s to say it’s literal like you said oldest trope in the book.
Plus Pai Mei taught John Wick to punch through wood even if he is buried alive
Thank you guys for the reactions, it’s rare when a reactor goes through the series consistently and the edits are great, hats off to you all

Blake's high pitched "Oh!" is *so* freaking funny!! I can't... 😂🤣

2 actors from Undisputed 3: Redemption; Scott Adkins playing Killa in a fat suit and Marko Zaror playing Chidi.

Klaus is a famous German bouncer by the name of Sven Marquardt. He actually looks like that in real life 💪🏻
I think that one of the things that people missed was that the chic that dedicated the songs over the radio was a throw back to the movie The Warriors. Plus i dont think that John Wick is dead. I just think that its a way for him to stay out of the life.

If he is dead, I'm okay with that. In the first movie, Helen told him to find his peace and now he has.
I'm ready. Don't like the ending but let's see what 5 does. In order of quality. I like ....
2, 4, 1, 3.

Hope u are watching The Continental prequel series and The Ballerina movie is coming this year❤ Greetings from Germany
The man in the purple suit is martial artist Scott Adkins in a fat suit.
This movie is excellent
Maybe it could be a prequel? It would be cool to see the job he did that built the foundation from the first movie and how he got his nickname.
Hell no, don't need a prequel.
Winston never betrayed John from the start. He shot John in his suit and not in the head
R.I.P Lance Reddick (Charon)

John wick is definitely going to dog heaven. Satisfaction guaranteed.

Crazy how far we’ve come from the main villains being a generic old Russian dude and Theon Greyjoy
