only really change the pitch of kicks when using an amen break over it or something, make it go with the melody of ur track!!!
I know this is an old video but if you still crossfade the kick samples, the sound happens because of the sample overlapping and to fix that you just have to right click the sample (in the channel rack) and enable "cut itself"
This tutorial was very helpful! I've been into speedcore for a while now and only just recently decided that I wanted to make my own speedcore/dancecore/breakcore music! I know NOTHING about making music and I find it a bit hard starting to make music. There aren't many speedcore tutorials I could find that could help me except yours! It would be very helpful if you could make more of these tutorials ^^

the crossfade thing is because the sample is playing over itself without stopping. you don't need it since you can just turn the hold all the way up and turn everything else down
