A first impression is always appearance, you mess that up for the people and you get judged according to that impression over and over. This guy is pretty asking to get stepped on by opinions and hate, but like you said, it's the topics not the looks. Lyrics are good and all but appearance matters.

I've liked Manson since I was really young, and I just know that this music will forever hold a special place in my heart. At first I liked it because it had a nice sound, but I then started to realize how amazing the lyrics were. I read his autobiography when I was 12 and have watched a lot of interviews, and he truly is a highly intelligent and interesting person. Even aside from the music, I admire him so much as an artist because he really worked his way to the top, and he writes his own music (as opposed to oh so many other musicians) and does it really well! The more I learn about the world, the more I learn to appreciate Manson's lyrics, because they're just so brilliant and philosophical. It just saddens me a little that Manson is so widely associated with "teenage rebellion". As I said, I've liked his music for a very long time, and I have never been "rebellious". I do classify myself as goth, but I'm very well-behaved, always had a great relationship with my parents and so forth, so there was never a rebellious aspect to it.

In comparison to the dumb sellout artists nowadays...a true genius who has made a lasting impact on people who relate and understand.

Marilyn Manson is my life. Like really. My parents' song when they were together was Lamb Of God. I used to listen to him to sleep during my childhood (and i still do). I loved him without understanding the lyrics (im french), and the day i searched for Lamb Of God's lyrics i cried. I love Sweet Dreams, i think it's one of all the songs i know that describes me the best (and the clip too). He and Kurt Cobain saved my life. I almost committed suicide but their songs and themselves saved me. When i listen to Manson it feels like there is someone right next to me saying that i'm not alone. He sings my feelings out loud in his songs. Today the songs of him that describe my feelings are Minute of Decay, Coma Black and Speed of Pain. I still want to die but i'm kinda scared of it (what if i cant listen to him anymore ? Lololol im not insane). He was and is here when no one is. Sadly i could never thanks him..

Marilyn Manson is my life. Like really. My parents' song when they were together was Lamb Of God. I used to listen to him to sleep during my childhood (and i still do). I loved him without understanding the lyrics (im french), and the day i searched for Lamb Of God's lyrics i cried. I love Sweet Dreams, i think it's one of all the songs i know that describes me the best (and the clip too).
He and Kurt Cobain saved my life. I almost committed suicide but their songs and themselves saved me.
When i listen to Manson it feels like there is someone right next to me saying that i'm not alone. He sings my feelings out loud in his songs.
Today the songs of him that describe my feelings are Minute of Decay, Coma Black and Speed of Pain. I still want to die but i'm kinda scared of it (what if i cant listen to him anymore ? Lololol im not insane).
He was and is here when no one is. Sadly i could never thanks him..
