Hey Jack, what if I just upgraded to Rank Math and already have location pages made. Can I still add them to my RM Locations section instead of creating new ones like you did in the video?
I just found out if you first create the location to get the "local Business" schema you can then save that as a template, add that template to the page you already have made and just delete the location page before it is indexed by Google. The schema will then stay on the page you already have and you will not need to have any extra web pages.
@@RankMath My location pages have been indexed by Google for quite some time now. So I'm not sure the option stated above will work for me. What I did was set up the RM Locations with a different URL then I just redirected that URL to the location page that it was created for... Do you see any issues with doing this?

Hello, thank you for your comment. Yes, you should still put your address in your website even if you don't need people to visit your office. This is because Google uses your NAP (name, address, and phone number) to verify your business and improve your local SEO ranking. You can put your address in the footer of your website, in your contact page, or in your Google My Business listing. You should also make sure that the about and contact us pages are optimized for local SEO. This means that you should use the keywords that people are likely to search for when they're looking for a real estate agent in Singapore. For example, you could include the keywords "HDB agent," "HDB rental agent," and "find property agent Singapore" on your about and contact us pages. I have Math Rank Pro but I can't see the "Email", "Address" and other Local SEO fields when selecting Local SEO and "Organization". Do you know why is this happening? How can I Fix it?
Hello, thank you for your comment, This issue might be occurring because you have enabled the "Use Multiple Locations" option in Rank Math Pro. When this option is enabled, some fields like "Email", "Address", "Phone Number", and "Price Range" are hidden as they are specific to individual locations and not the organization as a whole. To fix this issue and make the "Email", "Address", and other Local SEO fields visible for the Organization, you need to disable the "Use Multiple Locations" option in Rank Math PRO. Once you disable this option, you should be able to see and fill in all the necessary Local SEO fields for the Organization. Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

Hello, thank you for your comment. Adding schema markup to your branch pages can be beneficial for SEO and can help Google understand the content and structure of your website. However, simply publishing the branch pages and adding them to the sitemap is usually enough for Google to discover and index them. my company is under pest control services as far as the business category does rank math allow me to add this under Business Type in the local SEO screen? Your recommendation is to match Google's business profile. How can I go about that?
Hello, Thank you for your comment. Yes, you can add "Services" as the Business Type in the Local SEO screen of Rank Math. It is recommended to match the Google business profile to ensure consistency across all online platforms. To do this, go to your Google My Business account and check the business category listed there. Then, enter the same category in the Local SEO screen of Rank Math. This will help improve the accuracy of your business information and increase your chances of appearing in relevant search results. Hope that helps, and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need my assistance with anything else.

Hi,It's a really helpful content for local services. I have a question. You've told that we should set our business' name exactly as it is but some of the top 3 businesses adds keywords like location or service name to next to their actual business name. Doesn't that cause a clash in online directories like yelp? but yet they seem to be successful..
Hello, thank you for your comment. Adding keywords like location or service name next to the actual business name can indeed cause a clash in online directories like Yelp. While some businesses may appear successful with this strategy, it's important to note that it can lead to inconsistencies across different platforms and may violate the guidelines of certain directories. It's always best to ensure that your business name is consistent across all platforms to avoid any potential issues with online directories. If you have any more questions related to local SEO or anything else about Rank Math, feel free to ask!
Hi i am running 3D printing service business but i dont see that option in rankmath as a business type but its in Google what should i do now? Thanks in advance
Hello, and thank you for your comment. Schema.org does not include a dedicated Schema for 3D Printing. Hence the Business Type option that you see in Rank Math does not feature this option. We suggest choosing Local Business in the Business Type. Hope that helps, and please don’t hesitate to let us know if you have any other questions.
For multiple locations, what if the client is a service area-based business, and doesn't have a brick-and-mortar? Should I still put it down for multiple locations and create locations for each area?
Hello, thank you for your comment. When dealing with a service area-based business that doesn't have a physical location, you can still create multiple locations for each service area. In this case, you can use the "Area Served" option in the Local Business Schema to specify the geographic locations where your services are available. Here's how you can do it using Rank Math: 1. In the Schema Generator, select LocalBusiness and fill out the "Area Served" field with the service areas you cover. 2. Save the post and update or publish it as usual. 3. Check your Schema using Google’s Rich Results Testing Tool to ensure everything appears as expected. By creating multiple locations for each service area, you can effectively communicate to search engines the areas where your services are available, even if you don't have a physical brick-and-mortar location. rankmath.com/kb/add-multiple-areaserved-cities-to-localbusiness-schema/ Hope that helps, and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need my assistance with anything else.

"Hello, and thanks for your comment. Yes, it is important to create different Google Business Profiles for different locations for local SEO. This is because Google uses the information in your Business Profile to determine your business's ranking in local search results. If you have multiple locations, you need to create a separate profile for each one so that Google can accurately display your business information to users in different areas. If you still have any questions, just reply and we will be more than happy to clarify any doubts you might have.
Thank you for this tutorial, but it did not clarify if we should be using local keywords. For example, should the locksmith just use "locksmith open 24 hours," or should the locksmith also be using "locksmiths near me"? The "locksmith near me" seems like it would not make sense as a keyword, but if that's the main search, maybe that's what the locksmith should target. Please clarify.
Hello, thank you for your comment. Yes, you should definitely use both "locksmith open 24 hours" and "locksmiths near me" as keywords. This is because people who are locked out of their homes or cars are likely to search for both terms. Additionally, Locksmith open 24 hours is a more general term that will be used by people who are looking for a locksmith regardless of their location, and "Locksmiths near me" is a more specific term that will be used by people who are looking for a locksmith who is close to them. Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.
Actually this Same doubt I have. I am finalized keywords like "painting work near me" "AC service in chennai" hear I had confused because we cannot apply this keywords on directly on the GMB profile. We first choose business category and then service area write. Then how to finalize this kind of keywords and make optimize. Kindly give some clarification.
Hello and thank you for your comment, The keywords mentioned in the previous comment were for local service pages. In GMB profile, you only have to choose the services say, 'ac services' or 'painting' and depending on your location, Google will automatically display them for relevant audience. Hope this helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.
Great video...thanks for putting it out! In the Rank Math schema builder...is there the option to add the "Same As" info? If a business with one location builds out a location page for their location but doesn't make it available on the site menu or footer etc., will that location page still be crawled and indexed by google? Thanks again! 😎
Hello, thank you for your comment, First question, Please head over to Rank Math > Titles & Meta > Social Meta > Additional Profile and add the social profile URL to the Additional profile URLs section with any other URLs you have. That will add all the URLs under the sameAs property. Second question, if you are using Rank Math PRO, you can Create Multiple Locations (with Schema): rankmath.com/kb/multiple-locations/ google will be able to find your locations even if it's not included in the menu or footer. When I go to a page, for example my home page, and I try to add a "Local Business" schema, it's not available as an option. Is this because the Local SEO function is activated in Rank Math Pro? The local SEO function adds a local schema automatically?

Great video. But in my country the problem is that a lot of competitors write false reviews on google and that's why i don't want to have a google business profile. So, can i put a review option on my website with a plug in and than with Review Schema try to put this reviews on organic search, if google decides to display them.
Hello, thank you for your comment, According to Google Guidelines, violating a quality guideline can prevent syntactically correct structured data from being displayed as a rich result in Google Search, or possibly cause it to be marked as spam. You can read more about this here: developers.google.com/search/docs/advanced/guidelines/webmaster-guidelines#quality_guidelines So do not worry about your competitors writing false reviews because Google can check them and possibly penelize those sites. About the review option, you may need to use any supported Schema type on your blog posts. Here’s a link for more information: rankmath.com/kb/earning-star-ratings-in-serps/ Also, if you want to collect the user ratings, then you will have to use a third-party plugin like WP Review to do that. If you run into any issues, open a support ticket and we would love to help you sort it: rankmath.com/support/ We are here to help.

I have Math Rank Pro but I can't see the "Email", "Address" and other Local SEO fields when selecting Local SEO and "Organization".
Do you know why is this happening? How can I Fix it?
Hello, thank you for your comment,
This issue might be occurring because you have enabled the "Use Multiple Locations" option in Rank Math Pro.

You can follow this URL on how to add Organization/Local Business Schema: rankmath.com/kb/local-seo/

my company is under pest control services as far as the business category does rank math allow me to add this under Business Type in the local SEO screen?
Hi There, I have RM pro and only operating out of 1 location. However, i have more than 1 service. may i know if it will make sense to add on more location pages for my other services?
Hello, thank you for your comment,
No, since you are only operating in 1 location, you need to include the same location for all of your services.
Hope this helps.

Here's how you can do it using Rank Math:
1. In the Schema Generator, select LocalBusiness and fill out the "Area Served" field with the service areas you cover.
2. Save the post and update or publish it as usual.
3. Check your Schema using Google’s Rich Results Testing Tool to ensure everything appears as expected.
By creating multiple locations for each service area, you can effectively communicate to search engines the areas where your services are available, even if you don't have a physical brick-and-mortar location.

does the order in which you add your services to GMB matter. I am a gardener who lives in a small village and has customers within a 50km radius of where I live, ideally I want to target the area where the people with the biggest gardens live. How would I do this, please?
Hello, thank you for your comment.
No, the order in which you add your services in GMB does not matter. You can find more details about it here: www.localseotactics.com/service-area-gmb-listings-does-it-matter-which-order-you-list-your-service-areas/
You can add the Area Served locations in GMB to make your services available in the said radius.

Still something not clear. example locksmith service, no storefront-only service area, no additional branches, etc. in the GMB this is set by not adding an address and just having the service areas, now for the local SEO structured data from you guys ( still relevant) I am not using multiple locations but also do not have the service area in my rank math pro. so not sure how to set that ? as i do not see the" services area" option? also on another note, I do not see any Google map plugin that just shows an area without an actual market or pin somewhere. any advice appreciated

Is it important to create different Google business profile for different location?
Hello and thank you for your comment,
The keywords mentioned in the previous comment were for local service pages.
Hello, thank you for your comment,
First question, Please head over to Rank Math > Titles & Meta > Social Meta > Additional Profile and add the social profile URL to the Additional profile URLs section with any other URLs you have. That will add all the URLs under the sameAs property.
Second question, if you are using Rank Math PRO, you can Create Multiple Locations (with Schema): rankmath.com/kb/multiple-locations/ google will be able to find your locations even if it's not included in the menu or footer.
If you are having issues, you can always raise your question here rankmath.com/support/ and our support team would be happy to assist you.
When I go to a page, for example my home page, and I try to add a "Local Business" schema, it's not available as an option. Is this because the Local SEO function is activated in Rank Math Pro? The local SEO function adds a local schema automatically?

Yes, Local Business schema is added automatically to your site once you enable the Local SEO module of the Rank Math and fill in the details from WP Dashboard > Rank Math > Titles & Meta > Local SEO

After creating the scheme, how do you add it to the homepage? A local business schema doesn't appear as an option on the schema tab.
Hello, thank you for your comment,
The fastest, most straightforward way you can make is to optimize local business data using schema markup. When you configure the Local Settings section Rank Math will add the necessary metadata to your website for Google to recognize your website as a local business website, and Google will start showing your website in the SERPs for searches relating to your business.
Before configuring the settings here, we highly recommend that you claim your website in Google My Business if you already haven’t done so. Here are the instructions that you can follow: support.google.com/business/answer/2911778?hl=en.

Great video. But in my country the problem is that a lot of competitors write false reviews on google and that's why i don't want to have a google business profile.
So, can i put a review option on my website with a plug in and than with Review Schema try to put this reviews on organic search, if google decides to display them.
Hello, thank you for your comment,
According to Google Guidelines, violating a quality guideline can prevent syntactically correct structured data from being displayed as a rich result in Google Search, or possibly cause it to be marked as spam. You can read more about this here: developers.google.com/search/docs/advanced/guidelines/webmaster-guidelines#quality_guidelines
So do not worry about your competitors writing false reviews because Google can check them and possibly penelize those sites.
About the review option, you may need to use any supported Schema type on your blog posts.
Here’s a link for more information:

Also, if you want to collect the user ratings, then you will have to use a third-party plugin like WP Review to do that.

Hello, Thank you for your comment.
If you don't serve consumers at your business address, leave the address section blank and indicate your service area instead. If you serve customers at their homes or provide services remotely, a Service-area business is best for you.
In Rank Math, you can use the Area Served implementation on the Homepage and the location pages you serve. This feature is only accessible in the plugin's PRO edition.
