This is the second video in this style, what did you think??
I like it.
In the intro says its not about hitting 300 yard drives... then proceeds to hit a 290 + drive.
I do hit the ball far, but in my other videos my drives were off the planet and short game was not very good. Short game was way better this vid and in turn the score was a lot lower
Most importantly he plays tees based on this. If you hit 250, move up and shoot a lower score on an easier course rating. Both of you can be scratch and never play the same tees.
Appreciate your observation though.
difference from average and scratch golfers is that scratch golfers can stick it within 10 feet from 100+ yards
Nice play and the development in content is really enjoyable!
Thx to your better half for support and flying the drone. Gives real good expectations for the hole!
Cheers
She was a huge help for the whole trip! Appreciate the support
really enjoying this channel.
i play fast, so i like the quick pace of your videos.
the commentary and camera work is excellent
thank you! I really appreciate it. I've got a sweet video coming out on Sunday, stay tuned
Nice round. I live in Nashville and play Hermitage frequently. Nice par on #5 and #7. Those holes are tough and kill a lot of rounds there.
Very well played. I like that you just play shot after shot and add in your thoughts without any extra commentary. Maybe look into color grading your videos to make them a bit more aesthetically pleasing. Keep it up
Appreciate it! I’ll definitely look into that.
Solid scoring and super tidy golf Michael. Well done! What mic setup are you using if I may ask? ⛳🤘
Just found you, watching a few vids. You have a little bit of a Shawn Clement body momentum swing I like it.
Nice work bro!
Thank you!
Nice drone shots. Do you do them yourself or do you hire someone. I'm a golfer as well I am looking to start a channel like this. I'm 17 an a Junior in high school and a 12 handicap.
very nice.... looks like a lot of fun...
🙌🙌
With your strong long game, of course, your short game is key for low rounds.
However, most amateurs don’t have your long game. Hence, they can gain a lot more by improving their long game.
What advice to you have for someone who has a driving average 60 yards shorter than yours
For me, I shoot low 80s and usually the bad rounds come from a lack of composure and just not thinking through shots or trying the hero shot.
Same here. For me it's getting cute with shots when there is no need. I seem to take on average 3 6-7's each round because of it.
Yes great video
Really appreciate it!
Wanted to support with a Grind hat purchase, but it's only open for locally, USA.
Thank you so much, but unfortunately I am not shipping internationally at this time. Appreciate the thought though!
Good job 👍
Thank you 🙌
Nice round!
Thank you!
How do you hit your 60 so far.
I can hit my 58 only 75 yards on a good day.
Love your backswing 👌
Notice how he took zero penalties and mostly got up and down? That’s the key
The most frustrating part of my game is hitting a good T-shot and still ending up with a bogie.
You are correct, the most important shots are the 120yards and in.
Just not true.
I'm on video 4, and I still haven't seen you hit a good shot at max speed. And on your smooth swings, I've only seen good shots and small misses. Something to think about!
There's a reason Tiger plays his 8 iron at 150-160 even though he could hit the dang thing 180 if he wanted to.
Also, you're too handsy on your chips and pitches. It's damn near impossible to control touch speed like that. Dead hands, don't throw the club on those.
I know I sound like an asshole, I just see a really good golfer who could be so much better instantly with the smallest of tweaks in approach.
Tempo is definitely something I struggle with in general. Have struggled with it for a long time. It’s creeped into my chipping which is not good. These videos were filmed over the summer on a long trip and unfortunately can’t go back and fix them. As of right now though my chipping is getting on the right track
Some scratch golfers are scratch golfers because they play only during easy conditions.
