Purpose: Notes for the Peculiar Robot Contest 2024 (Part 1)
Executive Summary:
This entry contains the personal logs of Carson Isaiah Shen from Aegis Mechatronics considering the new Peculiar Robot Contest acquisition request. More info: peculiarrobotcontest.com/
These recordings have been deemed necessary for archiving by the Royal Technocratic Dominion regardless of completion of the formal audit. This first log shows the design process of the base frame for the new Fidlar (Fighting Directed Laser Armament) mech.
Key Findings:
The Fidlar appears to be a heavy classification mech. The upper hull is the same size as a classic main battle tank, which is supported by four large legs. This defensive fighting platform will be able to carry weight, including large and numerous armaments, thick armor, and strong engines. There also appears to be intent to use nuclear technology with energy beam weapons, which is not captured in the attached footage.
Public Advisory:
Project Fidlar is being monitored by the International Auditing Commission as original work of Shen’s team within Aegis Mechatronics and is considered proprietary technology of aforementioned parties. Attempts to claim information disclosed within this package will be met with swift justice by the Royal Technocratic Dominion.
Classification: Public Disclosure
Reporter: Carson Isaiah Shen, Head of the Mech Propulsion Systems lab owned by Aegis Mechatronics.

I have the terrible feeling that this channel is going to blow up...we've all seen what happens to so many creative people when it does. Please, when it happens to you, stay true to your roots.
Thank you!! I’m stubborn and don’t plan on playing the algorithm 😁
@@proto.roborovski Until you realize the mountains of cheddar could be yours! 🧀🧀🧀
Your narration is nothing short of perfection.
Thanks to the youtube algorithms for recommending your content.
Thank you!!
So creative, I don't know how you go from all the random parts to an awesome looking robot. This is the best kind of recycling
Thank you! I make it up as I go and I have done practice doing it 😂
Really nice follow up from the WASP. 👍
Thank you! The crab will be significantly bigger 😎
I wasn’t aware of this contest. You have me intrigued. Sounds awesome. I’m totally commenting before watching the vid (which I will promptly enjoy tonight.)
It’s a new contest, free to enter, and it should have some unique entries!
Absolutely creative and incredible!!!!
Love the build and the video presentation!!! 😊😊😊
This mech is going to be awesome! 😎
Thank you! I gotta push my skills each time 😁
@@proto.roborovski you are welcome 🤗
You definitely do 😁😁😁
Wooo what a great start!! also, so great being able to see how you've made it dismantle-able
I’ve learned many ways to not make it dismantle and I hope to continuously find better ways for others to learn from 😁
Another cool build you've got going there!
Thank you!
This is cool
Thanks!
Great story and awesome built mech/robot, can't wait for the paint job. What is the criteria for the construction of the mechs and how to enter? 👍
Thanks! Full link in description - basically non-humanoid designs, limited 3D printing, preference for weird/unique bots, and recycling and junkbashing is a bonus.
To enter, you need to make an entry paper and take a picture of starting materials before the build, work in progress pics with the paper in the background, then submit those with completed pics before the December deadline. Oh, and builds have to start after January 😁
@@proto.roborovski thanks, that sounds great, has my creative juices flowing 👍🎨😎🤔
Trash to treasure 🤘
That’s the goal!!
