- In this recipe we show you how to make traditional Austrian Gulasch (goulash) with Semmelknödel (bread dumplings) using Kaiser roll bread crumbs. We added some of our not so traditional twist that we hope you enjoy!

@@traditionalbutnot7793 Really does look amazing but I have always been told frying your paprika will make it bitter. Austrian magic to fix that because first person that says you want it sticking to the bottom I have personally seen.
Thanks for the comment. We like to create the fond on the bottom and then deglaze with water before it burns. That way you get a more intense flavor. Some people sear the meat to get the flavor from browning it.
