Did a double take when I saw JR Raymond, his videos helped me a lot, and I didn't realize he had ever played on a telecast
I said the same thing. I always wanted to see him in the PBA
Me three, but I was like, "With hair?" Haha
Same lol
I completely forgot JR Raymond was bowling. I've been following his bowlerx channel for awhile now, and the other week it just came up in one of his ball review videos, about how he was bowling against Ronnie when he threw that 300 during the Chameleon Championship, and I was like oh wow I forgot about that. Watching him bowl now compared to then his throw is definitely smoother and he's more balanced. Six years ago already I feel like I was just watching this man time flies.
A 300 is still a 300 no matter how lucky you are.
Howard Hammond you need to get lucky at least once to get a 300. It's happened to all of them. I've been watching them all in order.
First 300 I bowled in my 40' sport shot league in 2009, I chicken winged the heck out of my final ball due to nerves, and carried a really bad Brooklyn shot. Was using the first Ebonite Gamebreaker at the time.
Luck plays a role in every sport.
@@iAndyKaYyy - Except chess.
Ok Vin Diesel chill
I love Rash watching that last shot, you can tell he's thinking "Come on, man, you can get it!"
Nah pretty sure he's thinking about Belmo
Shout out to Ronnie Russell, Tommy Jones & all other bowlers who put their thumb in the ball before the fingers. Been doing that ever since I started bowling with a fingertip grip.
13:05
You can here a guy telling him it would be the 24th televised perfect game if you listen closely, lmfao.
hear*
Once I muted this and got Mike J’s voice out of the way it was a very enjoyable trip down memory lane!
I agree
If you look at ALL the 300s during PBA broadcasts, you'll see a lot of messenger strikes in the mix.
Apparently everybody bowls 300s in this comment section.
right! And I get it, 300s aren't rare in the grand scheme. joe schmo scrubs can get 300s and I've seen it. But on this stage, with this pressure.. it deserves credit!
I Haven't Made It Yet 277 Is My Highest
Have rolled 12 to 19 in a row over 2 games, never a legit 300. Guess I'm just pissed off
All these pros complaining!
Hats off to him. My high is 248.
My high score is 108
Ashley Jackson idiot
@@orbit6304 Not loved as a kid?
@@Lightningbud7 i was, were you herbie?
@@orbit6304 why you putting people down man? Gotta start somewhere
Everyone in this comments section is talking like they can bowl perfect 300s every 30 minutes
this guy rash is a good luck charm for other bowlers
I saw e j tackett bowl 11 strikes in a row then his last roll only 9 pins total of 299 so disappointing this young man is so good I love to watch Hime bowl
AWESOME GAME, Ronnie! And congrats, @PBABowling on the 200K subs!
We Meet Again Dylan How are Ya
@@NoahRonaldo22 How do you keep showing up?
@@JonesDylan874 Idk how i loved bowling just as much as you
何がいいって、対戦相手が笑顔で讃えてること。
what luck, for him to throw it against Sean Rash, who threw the 23rd televised perfect game haha, not a 10 pin bowler but damn love these videos
and who would of thought, before bowling became anything, this would become a sport ? throwing a ball at pins, such a fun sport too!
I saw tommy jones b bowl a 300 game on TV so awesome
0:31 and 1:36 and 3:08 - Tracking Rash's start positions.
James Davidson from my home town of eldorado ks has bowled a 300 game before here lately a 298 290 so close
I saw tommy jones bowl a 300 game Soo awesome
i bowl with ronnies son and he’s absolutely insane
How good is he what does he average
Can he work out his left arm please
Looks like the mechanic gave em this one
Russell used up a year's worth of luck in 10 frames.
No I didn’t. I just got in my groove.
the messenger strike helped out for Ronnie Russell
he also put 4 shots through the nose that should have been splits but somehow carried all of them, lol.
Ah, the 300 that could have been a 204
Liam Barron he almost left 2 4-10’s, a 4-9, a 4 pin, and a flat 10. I didn’t even see the shots in the 4th or 5th to see if they were good either.
Austin Elkins You still have to hit with good power. It still scores 300.
For those you that don’t understand bowling, I’ll explain. The odds of shooting 300 and having every shot dead flush is extremely extremely high. A person needs a little help in shooting 300. Sometimes a person gets a little more luck than other times. Bottom line is Ronnie Russell put up twelves X’s.
baliktad8 go back and look at just about every PBA televised 300 game. A few lucky breaks is acceptable, but when you’re tripping splits every other shot and not adjusting right, it just isn’t a good 300
True for every 300 game ever!
It would take me 3 games to score 300 if I play consistent ;)
I bowled 300 5 times
i was bowl score is 300 or perfect game when I was 10 years old age.
my Bowling games score is getting a little bit of worse since I was 10 years old so I need to figure out what I do to prepare for my bowling games at home before I go my bowling games.
Luckiest 300 I've ever seen
4:05 outro to a great break-beat and Rash showcase. Also, at 4:23 is the logo for the Geico PBA World Series of Bowling VI. Inspiring stuff!!!! WoOOOOOOOO! Go Bowling!
Never rolled better than 289, but fairly certain I don't have the focus to continue bowling after a 300 and wouldn't want to score one anywhere other than a tournament finals.
I think I could score a 130 a lot more easily than a 300, though.
Me too I was bowl score is 300 or perfect game when I was 10 years old age but I don't have been bowl score is 300 or perfect game since I was bowl score is 300 or perfect game since I was 10 years old age.
Ashley Jackson sorry, but I had a stroke tryna read your comment.
Wow!!! Can't believe I've come back to here again. This time, I was looking at JR, as he is teaching, and has his own private lanes. Sorry JR, but it was an impressive first two, I've done that without lessons, but I need to be taught from someone who can show me how to do 300 on demand. Your grip thing doesn't seem to be the only thing that works all the time, which is what I need to be the best.
I've bowled a 212 since I began my return to bowling. That was after about 80 games, I've been on a steady decline since as the lane is always dry when I get to it. No oil on Sunday with my Pitbull Bark and it skidded off the runway like a bit dog. It came down to straight geometry and I managed to ek out a 115 best of 11 games. Blaaaaaah!!!
I live in the same city as him just realized that
Before grade inflation, the best teachers were not the ones who had straight A averages all through school. The best were the ones who really had to study to get those B pluses and A minuses. Likewise the great coaches in sports, like Casey Stengel in baseball, or Phil Jackson in the NBA, while they were good enough to play in the pro leagues i.e. better than 90% of us, they were not star players. They made the most they could of their talent and studied the game more than their more talented peers.

RONNIE RUSSEL BOWL 300 GAME AT CHAMELION CHAMPIONSHIP
Ronnie got that very lucky break in the 10th.
14:10 I’ve had a slower messenger, before.
Man went through the headpin 5 times lol
This 300 game had plenty of lucky strikes.
I wonder if rash ajusted after having the Lucky 10 pin tap.
I'm sure he did. If I leave a bunch 10's I usually step back 1 or2 steps on the aproach.
"Slowest messenger I've ever seen"
I can't find the video but Kai Virtanen had a very slow trip 10 with the commentators calling it 299 prematurely, and had his back turned when the pin fell!
My Bowling games score are getting a little bit of worse since I was 10 years old so I need to figure out what I do to prepare for my Bowling games before I go to my Bowling games.
Don't be such a tool and you'll do a bit better
I can't lift the ball that high without it feeling like it's gonna fall out of my hand
They don't lift the ball they let gravity take the ball
possibility28able lol they been bowling for yearssssss do sumthing enough it becomes East
Easy
@@dejabowler873 you have to bring the ball up for gravity to take it down dipshit
Would you believe this is the second luckiest 300 ive ever seen?
What’s the first?
way too much hugging in bowling...these dudes look like they are in love
You people really think this was the messiest 300 on TV? A 300 is still a 300! He had a lot of joke strikes, but they all look the same on the scoreboard.
So many lucky strikes, with my revs I would have had splits all day long. Then again I haven't bowled a 300 without at least one of my shots crossing over brooky.
wow J. R had hair😂😂😂
I was in the 6th and I was starting to think that this wasn’t that bad and then the next few frames happened.
Bye funneh
They’re rarely ALL pretty. I’ve had 4 300’s and also had 17 in a row once and I GUARANTEE, you need a few “breaks”
GrtWhtVvvV yea almost nobody can string that many perfect strikes together. Without some form of break you’re probably not gonna get it.
My record is 21 in a row. And no I didn’t get a 300.
not Sauer damn

Who is Anthony? There was no Anthony bowling.
They were referring to a previous week’s show when Anthony Pepe threw a 295 his first time in the finals.
JR Raymond looks about 40 here
He got some breaks. Outed the last one tho. Funny how in bowling you can shoot a great 220. And shoot a bad 300
1. Luckiest 300 ever. 2. Sean Rash seems cool AF.
Sean is a fucking asshole lmfao
@@artisticallykaylee7440 Have you ever even met him? Because when I got signed by 900 global this year, he was the very first person to congratulate me. And he has no clue who I am. Started talking to him, and is extremely upbeat and nice..what's your issue?
@@flipper9038 I like the guy, but he's been WAY too standoffish to opponents.
4:25 a look back at the PBA Chameleon Championship out of 240 starters, only 4 made it to the finals!!! What a world. Thus, the need to be perfect all the time :0
295? WTH happened?
Nerves. It happens to the best of us. 😏

Luckiest televised 300 ever lol
Didn't make terrible shots but that was the luckiest carry in bowling history. Not just the PBA, the entire sport of bowling.
Yeah, he wouldn't last a day in the golden days of the PBA
real lucky, that could easily be a 155 game.
Funneh can you accept my friend request on roblox
This was the ugliest 300 ive ever seen.
rude
Still counts :::shrug emoji:::
Go bowl a 300 and then you can talk
Dude like you even can bowl a 200 with throwing the ball good and they are on sport shot not house shot
Skip to 14:27 for the money shot!
LMAO at all the hype! News is out of a 10 year old bowling 300's. It's very easy to do it once you know the lane is flat, and the oil has no affect if you throw a straight ball. You like balls? check out the making of my video game. Maybe I'll add some pins to the background. :)
2 things, one, the ten year old who did it is extremely skilled. I bowl with him sometimes and it is insane. Two, this perfect game was on sport shot (meaning the oil is harder) and it has all of the pressure of TV.
You cannot strike consistently if you throw a strait ball. Do you even bowl?
You might be right about straight balls, but, can you prove it? And, yes, I did bowl for awhile, until I got so bored of it. Especially when I was about to buy a Katani Slash ball for about two hundred bucks, and had to slap myself to get back to reality. I had this idea that I was going to join the league, and then try to get a 240 average, and join the PBA and go on tour. Then, I realized that it's all just a show, and only people who the commish wants to be in the show make it. There are waaaay too many people out there bowling 300's and it's just too easy... and boring :)
@@captainricco2777 I doubt that you had a 240 avg and couldn't justify buying a $200 ball. I also doubt that you got far enough in your bowling to avg 240 and then get bored of it. Another thing, the pba tour is on a sport shot which means the oil is much harder and much less forgiving.
@@@Zamber999 Okay. I must now take the mantle and prove my theory is correct. I'm getting the Slash today, and will make my 240 and join the league as intended earlier, and I will video tape my new Slash making 300's with straight balls. Then will go to the alleys that are featured on the shows and try to do it with that oil. I'm bowling 5 games today to see if it will even work :)
Using reactive balls is cheating. Reactive ball is program to do the same thing every time you just have to throw it the same way. You want a real game throw a straight ball.
u sound dumb dude
Oh, get over it, you old fuck. Technological advancements have only revolutionized the sport for the better. If you are SERIOUSLY that traditionalized about the sport, then start investing in some modern urethanes, and get rid of your 1976 Ebonite Gyro!
