YES... I don't have very many pet peeves about books, but that idea was innovative when The Time Traveler's Wife was published and now it just seems overdone. Still, it looks like a very interesting memoir and who could help but be emotionally involved with a child whose mother died?

I'm very surprised because I've never really hit the big time especially here at UA-cam, but you know, I do write reviews for every book I read, over at Goodreads, and publishers must sometimes read them.
I was just looking at that a moment ago - and praying about it too. I've made a lot of progress in cutting back the blackberries but there are still some left. I took down one side of the fence but need to work on the other. I nearly have my "path" cleared out. I need to prune back the Crabapple and the rose bush - I haven't touched them much yet.

Fame is relative. Well, I think they may have found my reviews at Goodreads. That is all. I don't know if they ever watched my Booktube channel but I do know another Booktuber who received a book from them right after I did. It was a different book more aimed at her interests I guess so they have us targeted. It is true I love memoirs and have read a lot of Asian literature!

I love the classics. I should read The Count of Monte Cristo one of these years. Right now my classic read is Les Miserables.

Well surprise book mail is still pretty cool. Interesting it came with the postcards to tie in with the meaning of the book. Hope you like it
