Considering it's only 70cc that's about 2HP. That would make it a little above 1600cc if 50HP was added. That bike would just instantly fall apart haha.
I gotta give it to the scooter driver, theres some skills in there, this is not easy, not with this wheel size, riding style, speed and limit pushing of handling. Good job! :D I would never ever dare this with a scooter, but motorbike would not stop me even with much more power. His vehicle and frame was originally not made to go pass 50kmh xD Proportionally it's like flooring a motorbike with about some 500hp :)
We are talking about the Piaggio Zip SP (That stands for Sport Production, and it has been often used for races). Just to be sure that non Italians and non scooter people understand what we are talking about: The brand new scooter with no modifications (just "unblocked" because in Italy every brand new scooter has to have the top speed limited to 45 km/h) is capable of 85 km/h if the rider has his back erected, and is capable to go to near 100 km/h if the rider is crouched and using slipstream. But that is not all since the scooter is really well balanced and capable of very good accelerations and brakes (the original front brake disc is 200mm wide). All of this with enough space for a full helmet under the seat. The models tuned by Malossi have professional races specs (that includes some limitations like the size of the carburetor limited to 19 and other stuff that i don't know or don't know hot to translate in English). Everything is revisited, the race engine is 70 cc instead of 50, the compression ratio goes up to 15,5:1 and it's capable of 22cv at the wheel, that are enough to push the 68 kg to over 150 km/h. Removing the race limitations (for exmaple using a bigger carburetor) the same engine can gain something aroun 5/6 more cv. I've seen some of that things in my life, and I can say that's all but a toy. It's a proper racing machine. A very light and agile one.
