Great video and area to watch trains. I go camping in Boardman Oregon at the RV and Marina park. That's another great spot to catch UP action. The goes right over the double track. If you haven't been there before you need to try to video some of that area. Robert from Island City Oregon. Today is 8/5/23
O Give Thanks Unto The Lord! I don't hear those words as often as I would like to, so to the presenter of Pacific Rail Productions, I salute you my friend! I totally love your channel and will give all the support I can. The vistas are breathtaking examples of His care for us all. Plus, I love trains!
Ex Spokane, Portland and Seattle Railroad then merged into BN and BNSF on the North Bank of the mighty Columbia. Union Pacific on the south shore (Oregon)
Although highly illegal, I'm sure, it would be interesting to walk out as far as possible along the bridge to get a better perspective of the size of the beautiful Columbia River. ❤the PNW!🌧🌲🎣
You did a really good job putting this video together. The ending music was a great. The music brought out the emotions of seeing this great panorama of the Columbia river and a train crossing on the lift bridge. First time I have seen traffic on this route and bridge lift working. Thank you. God's create and people interacting within it. I do miss the scenery of Oregon.
What a wonderful day you had on the river, Jeremy! It was so cool for me to see the lift bridge in action. Thank you for sharing God's awesomeness with us.
Drove by the bridge so many times going east into Idaho or over to Montana. Or up HWY 97 to Yakima. Good ol crown point. Old Columbia river highway. And HWY 14 on the Washington side 12 auto traffic tunnels from HWY 97 at Biggs to Vancouver.
@@pacificrailproductions5281 Drove the old HWY by Crown Point with my late father in the late 90's. My father and his relatives used to drive it in the 30's and 40's to go visit relatives in Boise ID. My late Uncle was born in 1926 at The Dalles...
@@pacificrailproductions5281 They were coming up HWY 99 from California to Boise ID. Speed I think my dad said was 45 MPH or something like that. My Dad lived with his parent's in Yoncalla OR, wow has it changed. It took them like 2 1/2 days to make the trip...
I truly enjoy your commentaries as you describe the MUCH bigger picture in terms of great expression as we roll along through this wonderful world God gave us.
Another great video bossman. Would be cool to be below deck on that tug tho and hear those dual EMD monsters screaming 😱. Pretty impressive if you consider they run basically dual train engines side by side right?
Jolie vidéo dans szs paysages étonnants. Merci de nous l'avoir transmise. Amicalement .

God is amazing to me, and I am in awe of his creation! Thanks so much for the encouragement, Paul! And yeah, trains rock!

That’s awesome! Yes, I love music and the emotion of dramatic scenery! Trains are the icing on top! Thank you Joe!
Whenever work sends me down the gorge I always enjoy the drive and watching all the rail traffic, excellent footage here
Thank you! It’s my favorite drive
The swing bridge in Vancouver and around the Portland area are the same way where as marine traffic has priority over railroad traffic
The Gorge is awesome. It's my favorite place in the PNW to railfan

Thanks friend! Boy, there’s still a lot to show from that day! Along with about three other videos I’m working on. Lots on the ready track!

I think you know more than I do about the tugs engines, honestly! But I do think they’re pretty cool!
do the cars on I-84, which are closer to river than the train going over bridge, go under the train or over the train?
wasn't in video
thanks
I-84 goes over the tracks.
