I learned my lesson about house wires about 50 years ago after getting lit up from an outlet that I PULLED THE FUSE OUT OF THE PANEL before working on it! Took me 3 hours to find the spot where they spliced this wire wrong in a Junction box... Neutral and Ground are NOT THE SAME THING!! After that if I could not physically pull the main breaker I would not do the job! I'm NOT an electrician but I've built houses, wired and plumbed houses my entire life and I've done a LOT of minor repairs for people over the years and I've seen some crazy insane things people will do to "get by"... Like using "pipe dope" & black tape to "fix" a slow leak in a Natural Gas line going into a Cook range & Oven!! Like mixing neutral and black wires in a breaker box in a trailer home and then not understanding why you kept getting a charge off the doorknob whenever it rained!! Or Duck tape to keep the broke Sewer line attached to your toilet... I could go on forever!
Used to work as an electrical wholesaler, had two phone calls during my time there informing us that; "Luke/Bill is gone, got zapped." Both times because of houses with lazy wiring jobs. She's a nasty bit of gear; electricity.
Holy crap man Chris Porter is absolutely hilarious. Everything about this I can relate with. Awesome stuff. Needed a good laugh. Much Love and God Bless.
Okay, so it's always weird when you come across a person with the same last name as yours, yet you're not related at all. However, it's even weirder when both your dad's share a first name, too. 🤔🥴😵💫
saw a dude fall 10 feet off a ladder and almost brought down some ceiling with him fucking with hvac... said he was ok but ya went to hospital for obv reasons... called his baby momma and was like ya i got shocked... that's serious voltage going thru you.
@@johnhaug1747 480 sucks ass. I just went home. It was clearly not my day. Unfortunately, all the machines I work with are 120, 240, _and_ 480. All at the same time. So you never know exactly which one you're gonna get zinged by.
This part never makes me NOT cry laughing... "A-guh-guh-guh..."

Electrician here. Yep! 🤣🤣🤪🤪
Even when you shut off the main switch,
.. there can still be enough juice hanging around within the wires in your home to give you a tickle.
Haven’t heard this in a while, freaking hilarious 😂

110 volts is nothin...most of the time. ..
110 isn't nothing. Try 220 😂😂😂
Unless you are wet or grounded. It’s not the voltage, it’s the amps.
@@oldman9642 Rumor has it, it hurts either way.

I agree. and it's 120VAC most of the time now.

Shocked, electrocution is death by electricity, shock is merely pain and/or injury. 🤓
We all understand that… It’s a joke, duh!!!

PLEASE do not attend any comedy shows. You'll leave with a broken brain.
