when I was in my 20's , I worked in a convalescent home, and the older gentleman at 8:36 reminds me so much of one of my patients, Mr Bettice. he was kind of crabby at first ,and we didn't get along well, but once he was there for a while, we started to like each other. I am sure that he is gone by now, as he was rather old back in the 1980's, and had some serious health issues. I liked that job, it was hard work , but very rewarding knowing that I was helping people who were sick, or who had a stoke or dementia.
Cheers to you for doing that work. My sister works in nursing and tells my some crazy stories. I’m not cut out for that type of work but give praise to people that can. I just fix stuff as a handyman and some of the stuff I run across is crazy. I can only imagine what you go through in your field of work. Thank you so much for service to people. ✌️✌️✌️💜💜💜
@@OlliGarch funny thing, I also did handyman work in my 30's. I love electrical and mechanical things.when I was in high school, a man from the Army core of engineers came to our school one day and I took a mechanical aptitude test, and scored so highly, that they were strongly urging me to join the military after I had graduated. I didn't tho. military life would not have been for me ...
@@GothGuy885 that’s pretty cool. I like doing handyman work myself. It’s always a challenge. I also looked into going in the army or something because my grandpa, a WWII veteran wanted me to but that life wasn’t for me either. When I was that age I would have been in trouble all the time for back talking the higher ups. lol. Thanks for your comment. ✌️✌️✌️💜💜💜
I’ve always thought it was very hurtful for him to read that letter to that little girl. A normal adult would’ve kept that from her and just told her the situation little by little in a kind way. I’m glad this was just a show.😊
Archie opened the letter then sealed it again ! He let the child read the letter herself but Edith & Archie knew what was in the letter ! I grew up watching this show with my family ! Made us all laugh , great show
it was buried really DEEP. but Archie had a heart. 🤣
"I didn't just row over here from Cuba."😂😂😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Maude should be on this list, she stayed with the Bunkers while they all had the flu.
Always love how Edith tells a story.

Archie, I swear to God snap oh geez 😆
She was better off with Archie and Edith anyway
Very much so
When Gloria and Micheal moved to California the show lost all the magic.
I’ve always thought it was very hurtful for him to read that letter to that little girl. A normal adult would’ve kept that from her and just told her the situation little by little in a kind way. I’m glad this was just a show.😊
He was brutally honest sometimes

I hated Aunt Iola, she seemed like a know it all, also I think that is nice Edith took Steffi in when her deadbeat dad couldn't take care of her.
❤😂🎉
They got plenty of time ever since Nixon abdicated...yep, I can think of someone else who thinks of the presidency like a kingdom.
