- One of the best printer upgrades I've ever invested in was a Security Camera. Why you may ask? Well, that's a good question...

That footage is super bright a d crisp @3:15 @Schematix
Good idea @Schematix
My best upgrade was octoprint+camera and fire alarm.
Hmmm very useful. I was just searching for something like this the other day. 👌
Nice video
Another great video from Schematix, did you by chance, check to see if this device was calling home without your knowledge? The lady with the dogs will be in for a shock once she see's herself on UA-cam... Keep up the great work mate...
Good vid. I put a webcam by my printer so I can keep an eye on things from the office. Nice part of the world you live.
Which Webcam did you go with? Thanks.

Good morning ❤️
Artificial Intelligence 🔥
I'm so paranoid about fires so I installed a smoke alarm in my 3d printer enclosure 😆
Is that so !
a camera for a 3D printer !!!
Why is that .?
As always and for always your videos fascinates me and gives me immense pleasure

Hola. Muy bueno. ¿La camara te puede avisar a tu telefono? Cuando detecta un humano a la noche, por ejemplo.
price?
Wonder if that duck has a sore voice. He just wouldn't shut up ;)
there is a camera that shows all persons passing by at he same time or in the same video like ghost that was used in olimpic games in brasil im not sure but it was in a olimpic game and it had A.I in the software i saw in the news some years ago.do you know any camera like that to buy?

looks like awful print to me.
Is the printer so bad?
So from a 5:29 minute video, 4:10 minutes were an ad for the company..wtf
And object recognition has been available for years.. doesn't count as AI
I don't know, this seems not the kind of AI that is fit to watch a 3D printer. I mean if there's people or vehicles on your 3D printer, that doesn't appear to tell you much useful. Kind of two different topics conflated in a fairly unfortunate manner.
So essentially, the recorded video needs to be uploaded to a third party server to be "processed" to "alert you to certain events"?
What that is in reality, is YET ANOTHER 3rd party bot network being used to train facial recognition algorithms and the like, while also harvesting the facial profiles of anyone that walks onto your property.
When are you people going to realise what a sheet idea that is?
It looks like you can enable Smart Person/Vehicle detection with that Reolink camera without an Internet connection.
@@TorchHacker Yeah, I'd have to look, I'd be impressed if it can, given the amount of real time processing power it takes to accomplish.
