I saw there was some confusion as to how the script was written. Basically, AI Dungeon is a program that works sort of like a scuffed version of DnD, with the program being the Dungeon Master and you being the player; so you can either start with a pre-made story prompt or make your own starting prompt for the program to work off of, and also interject with some story beats. Penny basically gave the program a few prompts to work with (at the start and intermitently to make sure they don't lose the plot), and everything else is AI generated based on stuff the program finds on the internet
Wait til you see episode two when it all starts to connect and have more plot twists and yeah it has some rough patch’s and such but it’s still good
But that doesnt explain everything. Did penny actively respond during the script generation, or did she find a way for AI Dungeon to play itself?

Funny thing about that. The earliernAI-dungeon models in the GPT-2 days had a bigger focus on uncurated online datasets gathered The outputs reflected the inputs to the point any story would devolve into the worst the internet could offer.
