- After fans requested, and we finally finished our own Sonic '06 full let's play, we sat down to watch SnapCube's Sonic '06 Fan Dub in its entirety and see how it lined up with our experience (spoiler alert: it was a more compelling story than the actual game).

@@teylaviva3750 Looked it up on the fandub wiki (to make sure I had all this love stuff figured out) and I think that's how it was spelled. It was a quick glance so that's probably why I misspelled it
8:47 I love how each of their dubs has one joke early on that paints the rest of it. This joke was the one that shifted this entire dub.
Because everyone is constantly going “okay he said that one, we should go with that.” for the rest, it’s amazing.
I do real-time improvised Sonic fanfiction with one of my friends and it is the most amazing writing process. One time we made an off hand joke about Phoenix Wright and then the entire chapter was about him.
The power of "Yes, and" in improv. One person says a line, and everyone else builds off of it
And you can see where they almost go with some things, I mean silver and blaze had the denny’s thing but that ended up going nowhere
Everything with Mephiles and Omega is golden, I think my favourite jokes have to be when Mephiles called Silver a "beta cuck" and when Shadow told Omega to count the sand. I dont know why they tickled me so much
The counting of sand is such an immaculate joke 😂

It's insane that this dub it makes more sense than the original game, also Sonic 06 fandub is one of the best improv dub ever made, is like a movie that you can rewatch and you always gonna find a new joke you let pass once in a while.
I also highly recommed watching the Neopets the darkest fairy series, there is tons and almost the mayor part of the jokes comes from there, is an incredible series too, with Sonic (Penny), Shadow (Ryan) and Silver (Red).
I like to think the things we've seen in this fandub are what foretold the events of Sonic Destruction.

@@Zekken_The_Lodestar For real, Kingdom Hearts 1 was relatively straightforward, KH2 was complex but still understandable but after that I have no idea what kind of expired elmer's glue they snorted to make the plot of the games.

I've watched the original video multiple times, I love it. Eggman is my favorite character in all of their dubs. I'd encourage everyone to go watch SnapCube's fandubs. To preface my next statement, I'd like to say I also love a lot of you guys' videos, particularly Ace Attorney and Chaos Jeopardy.
I skipped through your video, watched it for maybe 15 minutes. Honestly, I think it's kinda fucked up to upload their, almost hour and half long, video in its entirety, and add absolutely nothing to it.
I hear you. Tbh, I didn’t want to upload it at first, we had a bunch of people ask if we would, and checked and even snapcube had said that she encourages people to post reaction videos to it, so I relented.
@@SaveDataTeam Yeah I'm not surprised that Penny would encourage people to post reaction videos. It just didn't seem like you talked very much at all, yes you laughed a lot, but idk, in my opinion I don't feel like anything was really added, I don't think there's any meaningful difference between this and the original. I'm sure some people like it, but again I would encourage people, if you haven't seen the original, just go watch that, or watch that first.
And I did! Before we even start playing the video I put a disclaimer to watch the video and included a link to it, so people could give her the view first if they hadn’t seen it before. Again, I wouldn’t argue that we added a great deal to the content, and “reaction content” isn’t something I’m particularly comfortable with in the first place, but I hope some folks find this as an enjoyable second watch with other folks they enjoy hearing online.
