My wife and I look forward to Tuesday evenings as we watch your show every week since you started. She is planning on driving 8 hours and stopping to see you both at the OSU match. Hoping she can find you guys. Oh and Wayne you are spot on about the Brain. Besides doesn’t he know real cowboys don’t spit.
Bartlett is certainly frustrating to watch at times because you know the talent is there, but last year Starocci and Brooks weren’t nearly this dominant, so I still think Bartlett can hit another level.

He better do it soon. It's mid January of his final year. I was always a Bartlett fan but I'm tired of the bs cautious, scared, defensive style that put me to sleep. So ready for fresh blood next year.

I actually watch the show 2 or 3 times to give it more views...We gotta get this channel making money so Wayne can come on FT & put out more shows. 3 30-45 minute shows a week would be awesome.
A few weeks ago Iowa beating Penn State was a discussion, but I think as the season has gone on it looks more likely that Penn State blows out Iowa. I’m obviously biased, but I genuinely believe there’s a better chance that Penn State shuts out Iowa than Iowa winning the dual, with both being unlikely.
If Braeden Davis beats Drake we are close at that point but Bartlett must get over his fear of shooting or there is no shutout💯
@@dramaking9377Ayala is certainly a tough matchup, but Davis could beat him despite being the underdog. Woods hasn’t been otherworldly this year, so even with the way Beau is wrestling I can see him getting one takedown off a counter or something, and that being enough to win. Those are the only two matchups that Iowa will be favored in I’d think, but 49 could flip and I wouldn’t be shocked. Maybe even 57 or 84 if Gabe wrestles, but those are much more unlikely to me.
Does the #1 125lb curse continue this weekend ?
Wayne's takes are so good. I applaud you on your dedication to seeing the forest through the trees on these insane weight classes. Really looking forward to some HUGE conference duals to come.

Whole-heartedly agree on the dual team tournament. The storylines and drama would really improve the fan experience. It also emphasizes coaching decisions and individual matches. I think the current tournaments give us the best wrestlers at the end, but it's not as interesting as a great dual.

I'm over the Gable drama, but he can use an Olympic redshirt this season. So I'm sure we will hear about him all summer and next season. With NLI, I'm sure Gable could make more money wrestling NCAA than what the WWE is offering.

I do not favor the Dual Meet Championship. It is NOT the most no-brainer. Example one: Penn State #1 vs Iowa #2 in 2023. Not counting 125 (Spencer), 133 (RBY), and 184 (Brooks), the other SEVEN matches combined for a total of 28 points (4-1, 4-1, 3-2, 2-1, 2-1, 2-0, 4-1). Lots of 3 minute first periods with no points. Exciting? Example two: Penn State #1 vs Ok St #2 in 2017. Freak circumstances threated the outcome of the entire meet. First, Suriano (#2) leading Piccininni (#11), 3-1, when he gets a freak injury. Big change from a 3 or 4 point win vs a 6 point loss. Second, Gulibon had Dean Heil pinned at least twice, maybe 3 times. I was matside about 6 rows up and had a perfect view, surrounded by Cowboys. The Cowboys couldn't believe it either. They also admitted they thought Heil was flat. (Btw, nice fans in Stillwater) Anyway, another huge turn of events, pointwise. So, I do not favor a Dual Championship because they are boring, low scoring, and wrestlers trying to keep matches to a decision. And, add to that the idea that one or two freak things could factor into the outcome. Contrast to the NCAA National Tournament. Not one single wrestler is trying to lose by "only a decision." Every wrestler is out to WIN. And, if a wrestler suffers an early loss they get a chance to comeback in the consy's.Generally speaking, a bunch of really great matches at the National Tournament. So, very, very, exciting. It's a no-brainer to keep the NCAA Tourney as the Championship.

Messenbrink has INSANE offense. His CONSTANT attacking style alone makes him dangerous. His scrambling puts him over the top. Hes in the mix with Keegan. He beats Carr without a doubt. Olejnik just lost & Ramirez ducks anyone ranked to preserve his ranking after a fluke victory over Carr

I totally agree with the rant on Willie. I really like the Basch style. I think he does a great interview. But, a few weeks ago I was watching an episode, while eating my dinner, with Willie spitting into his bottle and I just about puked. Only made it about 10 minutes. Tried again about a week later and I only lasted maybe 2 minutes. Now, if I see Willie in the thumbnail, I don't even consider watching.
Iowa vs Penn State would be an interesting dual if bonus points weren’t a thing
It's gonna be the best dual all year despite the fact that Iowa only has a chance to win 2 matches-141 & 185.

Nate Jackson took 1st, he's so good!!! But, I swear he always chokes in the close matches! The dude should have some world metals but always loses the important matches close!!!

You aren’t actually putting down into words that Vito….who majored Fix, broke RBY’s longest win streak in the country by nearly majoring him and winning an NCAA title, then went on to beat the best in the world in winning a world title …is ducking Bouzakis , who almost got majored to Rini (Colombia) and Santaniello (Pitt) this year? To a guy who did get majored by Tyler Knox and lost to Julian Farber as well this year? This is the guy that the defending NCAA and world champ is ducking? Is this what you are going with here ? My God. this very well may be the worst take of the entire season. If I am you I hury and sober up and delete this prior to being on the receiving end of countless abusive replies 😂
Vito is a good wrestler it is just suspicious that he did not wrestle Ohio state
Cornell has been losing cause Vito is not in the line up. I will agree 💯 with you on that.
Against Ohio St, Cornell gave up 6 at 133 instead of earning 3-4 pts. So that right there makes a 21-20 loss 23-15 (at the very least) a cornell win.
vs lehigh they lost 17-16 and gave up 5 at 133 instead of most likely getting 3 but just to done play it let’s say he even loses.. its by a decision which still gives them a 16-15 win.
Iowa St they lost 26-15, no Fernandes, Shapiro and Vito. gave up 3 to Frost at 133 instead of earning 5 or 6. I say that cause Vito beat Bailey that day 4-0 and Bailey teched Frost 15-0 that day. Cornell gave up a 4 point major at 157 and a 6 point pin at 165. Shapiro beats Chittum and Ramirez let’s just say loses by decision to Carr. Even if you say Chittum beats Shapiro, it would only be by a decision . So say Vito gets 5, chittum gets 3 instead of 4 and Carr gets 3 instead of 6 (that’s being generous to Iowa st) now you have a 20-19 Cornell win
So yeah Vito being out and Grey sitting those 3 vs Iowa St very well has turned and undefeated dual season thus far into a 3 loss one. Shame too cause Would have loved to see two unbeatens Cornell and Missouri go at it with that on the line in 2 weeks.

WWE should've waited. He jumped in too soon & sounds like a low budget D list actor. Brock was in his ear way too soon & cost Gable & Minnesota 2 more individual championships. Gable is mired in complete anonymity at this point
