This is confronting me, i have been smoking tabaco nearly my hole life and i enjoyed it but after the last two whatsup profss i realiced that i was only pleasing satan. But now i have to get back to universitie to learn what is good to eat? I think where i live food is good and healty, there are hardly sick people here but i will start to work in my vegtibel garden. Wow Prof, you got me moving this time! Lately i have a lot of flash backs from my live, the good and the bad.. My situation has went from dire to worse, currently I'm engaged to an unbeliever and while also standing the chance of losing my job, I must severe the engagement as well. I'm sooo depressed but I feel strongly convicted not to do sexual immorality anymore. I'm currently addicted to tobacco as well while losing the addiction to coffee easily. Believe me, you are not alone going through a really tough and terrible time. I hope God strengthens you, through His Spirit in your spirit and gives you grace to be able to stand. Remember to buy seed and have your own gardens to feed yourself and remember the worst still have to come. We still have to be tested to the uttermost....deep down I wish this was over already. Don’t worry, if you have accepted Jesus as your personal savior, you are saved. We should Never doubt the saving grace of Jesus. We are all saved by grace. It’s during the process of sanctification that many times all of us have doubts if are saved (its Satan's way of discouraging us). Christ accepts us as we are! Let us allow the Holy Spirit to do His work in us. We will not be perfect until probation comes to an end. Lets continue to pray for all of us.

I thank God that He gave me victory over red meat (beef) over 10 years ago. Couldn't give up chicken meat though...until 6 months ago. I finished a fast and all of the sudden I loathed chicken. That was six months ago. Still going strong. I'm still eating fish and eggs and cheese. I'm praying for the Lord to give me victory over those as well. He will. Diet changes should be progressive as much as possible. Keep on praying for victory!!!

Thank you Walter and Martin for this wonderful presentation. There are many typologies in the Bible and some are lesser known. God's call to Abram to go to another land (Canaan) and the promise that all the families of earth would be blessed through him starts in Genesis 12. However, the story of Canaan as the promised land and the inheritance of the descendants of Abram starts in Genesis 9 when Noah's son Ham sinned against his father. Noah prophesied to Ham that the descendants of his son Canaan would become the servants of the descendants of Japheth and Shem. The promise of Canaan existed long before Abram was born. In Genesis 11, a few generations later, Terah who was a descendant of Shem had three sons Abram, Nahor and Haran. After his son Haran died Terah with his family which included Abram and wife Sarai, Haran's son Lot, Nahor and his family all left Ur of the Chal'dees with the intention to go to the land of Canaan. However, Terah and his family came upon the Land of Haran and they lingered there until his death and then God called Abram to leave his kinfolks in Haran and continue the journey. Terah did not see the promised land but his son Abram did.

In Genesis 11, a few generations later, Terah who was a descendant of Shem had three sons Abram, Nahor and Haran. After his son Haran died Terah with his family which included Abram and wife Sarai, Haran's son Lot, Nahor and his family all left Ur of the Chal'dees with the intention to go to the land of Canaan. However, Terah and his family came upon the Land of Haran and they lingered there until his death and then God called Abram to leave his kinfolks in Haran and continue the journey. Terah did not see the promised land but his son Abram did.
Anyway we will be all on plant based diet in heavenly Canaan, let's get ready now!
