@@iseeyou695 because more ranks = less skill gap. It's easier to get lucky. Riot didn't add a new rank to make the system better, they added it to inflate the rank climb. Majority of their changes have increased the amount of time it takes to climb each season to keep you playing. It's the F2P model. They want you constantly involved with their game, because they make more money the more you're invested. And time = investment. Ever since Tencent bought Riot, their ethos has shifted dramatically to revolve around making as much money as they can without losing their player base. It's why they toe the line, but never fully cross it. They hide the things they do because it'd alienate their audience, but it's been a long time since I've seen the company care about their audience.

They tried to go against the simple reality that lower skilled brackets are bigger by default and they lost the battle.
Even chess is bottom heavy with just the top 1% being over 1800 elo, even though the actual top GMs are around 2600. There is a massive difference in skill and flattening the curve just makes matchmaking fucked

First time I heard a top lane admit top lane is most op role. Been saying this for a while now, but people default to "jungle is op because..." top is broken. Most xp in the game and most impact mid game if played correctly. Can split (jungles can't if playing for objectives) have tp to join fights, and usually can 1v2 in side lanes. Most op rule if you can figure out any simple macro decisions.

realistically baus has 0 chance at winning. even if he is the better player he just could not possibly have the mental fortitude of tyler1. tyler1 is a freak. a force of nature. a genetic impossibility. he has seen things that you or i could only imagine. he simply has more games under his belt than baus. no one has played as many games as tyler1 and therefore no one is as good at soloqueue as tyler1
