I've known a lot of people who have been inspired to play piano by playlists like this, but have constantly been discouraged by friends or classmates who call it "simple" or "uninteresting" when they practice at school only for themselves. I can imagine, in the future, that they buy themselves their own piano in their own home and play tunes without the judgement of others-especially ragtime, jazz, or classical pianists who tend to play complex passages. Before I graduated, I spoke to a freshman who played for me music like this. He was ashamed that he only knew "simple patterns" or "boring themes." I told him, "if you can't play for others, then play for yourself." He responded "like a protagonist." And at that moment, I realized that I avoided simplicity for the interest of others-I can only play ragtime pieces-and avoided the most beautiful sounds fingers can render.
This playlist reminds me of the time I finally got recognized by my parents. The music sounds like the pieces I've created due to the many inspirations by you. Thank you so much for making these pieces, Seycara! ❤️
I miss Kyoto so much. I loved al the days I was lucky enough to spend there. Hopefully this year I'll go back and listen to this melody on a rainy night. Thanks for the trip down memory Lane
This is truly a hidden gem ! I randomly stumbled accross your work and I want to say it is honestly inspiring. All these pieces carry deep, beautiful emotions. I think they all shine through their simplicity. Thank you for your music

Some parts are a bit sorrowful, but it's calm-spirited altogether... nice.
