this is probably a good place to say theres been a LOT of people impersonating me in-game. I rarely play the game anymore, so if you see "me," it likely isnt. if you see someone with my exact user (NOT display name) just ask them to switch to a morph with the solstice accessories.

I can't join, I tried filling appeals out, but who even reads those, my lil sister got me banned from the discord, and I tried making a new acc cuz the appeal wasn't even read, but it dosent work.

This is so cool! The main thing I hope they add is an actual prey pile. Like the med den storage! that way we can actually stock up on prey without it despawning
Edit: (for the record, this comment was made before i got to be in a test session and saw the prey piles. i know they plan on adding them and im very excited! :])

@@ThatNerdyKidd or instead you can just pretend to eat it but not eat it fully and then bring it back when you are done
that way you can have fun and not disturb people entirely
@@ThatNerdyKidd Bruh I'm not taking them from the storage. Literally never had anyone be mad. I usually took stuff like catmint or juniper which is easy to find.

I’m so excited for the prey update, but I’m also curious to see if the prey piles will be interactive like how the herb store is and how fishing will work if it is added.
that's what I'm assuming the prey piles are going to be like, having all the types of prey on a list and how many are there and options to put in or take out prey, who knows though!
I Hope there is an option to eat half so you can share prey.

fishing. you probably need to be close enough, and press e/hold the button, but randomly the fish might escape based on your size?

they should add not so dangerous snakes so it doesnt break the game by you dying ,OR they could add starclan and darkforest so when you die you can choose starclan or darkforest! and when you get bit you hear a cat yowl, they should also add foxes and wolves you can battle
@@JackTheKemonomimi starclan or dark clan idea is kinda good but if the snake isn't dangerous then why would they add it and they aren't gonna make it a survival game and u would just be rping and then a random fox is gonna come and attack u

I always got the mouse toy. It was the best thing I could do for prey. Mine always tasted like plastic

I Personally think it'd be cool if you could fill a list of prey like with the herbs, so for example if you caught a mouse you could later open up the mouse's entry and click some kinda button to find the nearest one. Just my opinion

Yes, being able to track a scent you’ve found before more easily would defiantly be a nifty feature
I like this idea! As of now we display different scents via the color and effects of the trail, but I may add additional ways to view this as you hunt more prey...

Wow, this looks so cool! Honestly, I thought the hunting would be more like the Lake territory(not me forgetting it’s name :>), where you’d use scent, and sneak up on it, whil if you don’t, the prey will run. But this is a lot cooler! Can’t wait until open testing!

Wow, I've been waiting for this for so long! Finally, you can hunt, otherwise it was sometimes boring to run. Respect to the developers (I write through a translator, I hope everything is correct)
I love the mechanics so far! The scent and lunge ideas are so cool and are something I've always wanted to see implemented, I can't wait for it to be public
I wonder if they'll add prey into the specific territories, like frogs for SC & hares for WC. Things like that.

its a cool thing to actually have a look of the prey in game! i really like the pouncing on the prey animation, tho it does look a bit choppy. but im sure when he prey actually comes out for the public to see, the animation will look better

It’s such an amazing addition to the game! I’ve had plenty of times before when I’m an apprentice and no one wants to mentor, but this gives them something to actually teach!
I have to watch this a second time or more to realize what is coming up! It already looks amazing, can't wait until it's official!!
The prey could use some bug fixed but it indeed is a huge accomplishment and already looks stunning!

This is going to help alot! Alot of the time me and my friends are rogues we don't really clan roleplay, alot of the time we end up hunting at some point in the rolepay and it always feels so awkward hunting and then eating an invisible animal xD
I'm mostly excited for the update because it will give clans a reason to send out patrols (other then for rp), it will also make being a rouge/loner more fun because patrols will need to be sent out and you have a better chance of getting an rp ( I hate it when clans don't send out patrols at all because it kinda doesn't even feel like a clan, it just feels like a cat group)
I love the pounce animation if they add this it would be amazing 🤩

My patience for the prey update was starting to disappear. at least it didn't disappear like my hopes for a tf2 update.

So that they won’t run into walls and glitch out of the map, I hope you they make the prey be on kind of a “invisible track” where they have to walk/run to a spot they sit for a second then move to the next spot. But still with all the hunting features

Will there be an option to add the prey to the fresh kill pile? Will it have the fresh kill pile be like the herb storage in med? Also I love the lunge animation. The perspective looks great. Keep up the good work.

it'd be an interesting idea if you didn't catch the prey all the time, for there to be a chance of failure, it'd make it more realistic and it'd be easier to train an apprentice if they didn't catch the prey on their exact first try and every try after that. A hunger meeter would ensure that the prey caught is actually spent instead of just over lapping in the kill pile, making hunting patrols necessary, if a cats hunger meter is totally drained they could have de-buff of sorts, like a running de-buff ect. ^^
Well the hunger bar would make sure cats actually need to hunt and eat, it would also make role playing a bit less fun. If you had to stop every time your hunger bar gets low and go eat a mouse the role playing would take longer and be less enjoyable

Debuff could just be can't sprint or something, and also could build community by having players help eachother when low on food and rp would be more interactive and less up to imagination

I hope that the prey comes because all I do is click crouch and say „(insert name here) grabs a piece of (insert prey here), takes it to the (insert den here) den, and begins to feed themselves, munching *aggressively* on the (insert prey here) as if they had not eaten in many moons.“ lol
The lunge is so cool XD and when they said: “mellow is coming” - “RUN” I laughed nobodys prey is ever safe

i'm super excited for prey! it'll give the game more of a realistic touch, and whenever we go out on a hunting patrol, we can come back with prey instead of stealing the kittypets toys!

Yay! I hope they add a prey feature and fresh kill pile feature. Maybe a hunger and injury feature too. And a battle feature, where you can use battle action animations against other cats.

I wonder if fishing will be added, maybe you have to time hitting some sort of button, like for an example a red bar could be placed on the screen and a green part will be on there with a random size (at least to where, at most, people could time it easily.) And, there will be a line that will go (maybe around slow-medium speed) the line and you have to press some sort of button, when it hits the green, to catch the fish. The more accurate the line is to the middle of the green part, the more likely you catch the fish. Just my idea!
