Lets be honest to the new players, this is OW2 not OW1, for most ranks and the majority of players, there are only really DPS and Supports, and often times it feels like you have just DPS and Bad DPS. Tanks really only become more than just another DPS at the highest ranks who consistently use the necessary team coordination.
Going in, my mains are based on my best attribute being my ADHD enhanced brain letting me keep track of multiple gameplay aspects, rather than having god tier mechanics (even if my mechanics ARE slightly above average, due to how much I've played over multiple decades). This means my Tank mains are Orisa and Winston, my DPS mains are Junkrat and Reaper, my Support mains are Mercy and Zenyatta (focussed on discord orb placement and keeping damage pressure on the enemy tank, to ensure my tank wins the 1v1 even if they're the worse tank player). I’ve been playing this game since s2 of ow2 and I’ve tried out every role and every character and I’ve watched countless amounts of videos and read countless amounts of websites giving info on finding my main role or main hero and I’ve also take so many quizzes on the subject and I still can’t figure out what the roles actually do for pros and cons in a way I can understand so i can make a actual decision that sticks so if anyone can help me at all it’s greatly appreciated
I don’t tank anymore it’s just painful it makes me hate the game and everyone in it they’ve made it just not fun to be the tank at least before I’d have help now I’m just me and me alone dps is usually dead or doesn’t care about supports

Wasn't really that helpful, sure the information about the categories that were mentioned were useful and only doing 80% isn't a good guide.
