Wait, does it count as a one pot dish if you take everything out into different individual containers? You can also make Pad Thai without removing anything from the pan (except the noodles ofc )
Why would you use sesame oil as a base for cooking the chicken, egg, and shallot. The noodles I do understand but sesame oil has a delicious yet *very* strong smell and taste even without it being toasted, the chicken, egg, and shallot are gonna mainly taste like sesame oil.
@@sharimeyers292I actually like the enhanced flavors of shallot, garlic, onion, and white pepper when I make an Asian dish that includes eggs, and don't get me wrong I do like sesame oil on eggs too, but drizzled on *AFTER* it's cooked, that way the sesame oil doesn't overpower the natural taste of the eggs.
All but ONE has rice, pasta, or potato as a major component. And the only one that doesn't is a soup. How disappointing. Was hoping for ONE low-carb main dish recipe..

Yes, I agree. They seem to think sesame is interchange with most other neutral oil or olive oil, which it isn’t.
I love eggs cooked in sesame oil. Especially in noodles or fried rice. Switch out if you prefer something else.

The first dish, Pad Thai, could easily substitute tofu or tempeh for chicken. That's what I'd use since I don't eat chicken.
