I was part of a snowboarder focus group in Utah when they were making this game. They gave us free pizza and asked what we'd like to see in the game. My input was I wanted it to be realistic and have real resorts in it, not just made up mountains.
That's pretty dope. I remember those focus groups back then I used to try to volunteer for as many as I could but this was something you were actually good at so this probably was more fun. Could you see any gameplay or anything from the game yet?

came here to say this. steep never came close to this. amped 3 looked like SSX tricky meets paper Mario meets bad punk 2006 emo aesthetic and it was just so sad when they could have built on this incredible gem of a game instead

This was one of the first games I rented from blockbuster and i still have fond memories of this gem. Wish I could play it again but don’t have an original Xbox anymore :(
Tbh it's still really fun to play today if you find yourself an Xbox again. They can connect via HDMI and with these 4k TVs look much better and this game holds up pretty well. This was a game from an era where it was more about being fun, just picking up a controller and having a blast so when I have 20 mins to kill I always come back to this

I only play games I have never been with nothen but I love playing amped1 and amped2 back in my younger days and my mom got me amped1 and amped2 again I'm getting them soon can't wait to get them there my favorite games for the original xbox I used to play the hell out of amped1 back in my younger days I was pretty good at it can't wait to get these to new old classic games I'm gonna play them every day my mom said there be here by the end of next week

These were the best snowboarding games. Not to unrealistic compared to the other snowboarding games.
This one had the perfect balance between arcade and realism.
