As a console player this is starting to piss me off. Why release it on console at all if we just have a worse version of the game that we pay MORE for?
right?? like I know this one is an apology bc of the app for pc players, but it's mind boggling how little content the console gets in general
and that's not even mentioning the topic of mods...

I always thought they gave out the least popular packs but i refuse to believe the blooming rooms kit is the least popular one
People are saying it’s free because Mac users were having massive issue with the EA app and they were recently all forced to use the app. I think they choose a well liked but “older” kit so their apology to Mac users would actually be worth something.
@@ninadreams127 i guess that would make sense, even tho still seems a bit "too" generous for the sims team
it's a Marketing Trick. when you give your best product for free, people will get really excited and buy more. Makes no sense for them to give out the bad packs because no one will buy more after that 😀
@@irishout2869 well its actually the opposite, games give out the garbage no one would buy in the first place cuz then their white knights go "see? They're so generous they're giving us free things" no game ever gives out the good things
@@Relevart9169yeah as a Mac player they forced us to move from origin(which worked WAY better than the EA app) the sims 3 does not even open anymore and keeps wanting to open origin which does not exist anymore.
Blooming Rooms and Tiny Living stuff is homestly such a good combo. I built a little micro home with pretty much all the Tiny Living stuff and the cute wall plants + table. They are both modern but cosy so they fit together perfectly, though I'm pretty sure I used something from the cats and dogs pack as well because I can't see to keep my paws off it (hehe).

i made my founding sim a gardener and had to get a mod to fix the weed glitch!

I would LOVE a build that includes items from every pack that has ever been free. (Backyard stuff, Jungle adventure, Blooming Rooms, Luxury Party Stuff, Desert Deluxe, my first pet stuff...) I'm sure I'm not the only one that has opted into every single one

@@jordyn2888 I think it was that time that if you downloaded the epics game store on your computer you got 3 packs free. Pretty sure it was Jungle Adventure, Luxury Pary and some CAS Kit
@@jordyn2888 can't remember but all ik is that you needed to link your ea account to your steam account and that was too much effort for me so I didn't get it 💀

I recently bought a plastic plant and I'm honestly surprised it still looks alive I was so sure it would find a way to die with how bad I am at keeping plants 🥴

listen, even when i try to keep a CACTUS alive i somehow over-water it and kill it, so i feel this 😭

I'm so glad they did this! This is probably one of my most used kits, I use pretty much every item in it pretty consistently, especially that hanging plant!

Grrr, it says it's not free on my end and costs $4.99, so I will wait a day or two. Hopefully it updates to free on my end. The flowers look SO PRETTY.

I LOVE this build! I usually don't download lilsimsie's complete builds, but I'm actually going to place this lot instead of just using it for inspiration. I'm amazed how much she fits in that tiny space and still keeps an interesting layout. Also, how great is it to get this pack for free, it's beautiful!
Not me realizing my legit copy of TS4 has SO MANY PACKS AND KITS NOW despite only buying Cats & Dogs (and base game before it was free 😅)! I think the only thing I'd have to purchase to be happy playing legit would be Tiny Living for the tiny house bonuses, which I doubt will ever be free, so I'll probably pick it up in the next major sale ^^ Come to think of it, a friend house chaos run wouldn't really need the tiny house bonuses to be good fun... and my download is almost complete!

If y’all have Windows, you can still play all your packs even if you bought them on different libraries! Can’t on Mac tho, since Sims on Steam doesn’t work on Mac

@@SavannahRose01 I recommend getting an EA account even if you won’t use it any time soon. The kit is free there and, as long as you have the EA app installed on your computer, you’ll be able to play with Blooming Rooms along with all your Steam DOCs.
I honestly only use my EA to snag any free Sims stuff lol! Same with Epic Games, ever since they gave away Jungle Adventure (+ something else) for free a while ago. It’s annoying to have all the free stuff spread across platforms, but thankfully your game will still register them all
@@benawisphoenix I don’t have Steam deck, so I dont know for sure, but I’m going to assume “no”…? Using packs bought from both Steam and EA only works if your device has access to both Steam Sims and EA App Sims. If there’s a way you can download the Blooming Rooms file onto your Steam Deck, then maybe it’ll work, but that’s only a theory since I don’t know how Steam Deck works

Oddly enough, the kit isn't free on steam but is free on the ea app (all the other times we got stuff for free, it was available on steam)

Ive been looking forward to this one! Just made a cottage and used everything but that giant plant holder thing. So happy with how it came out. Personally i love the free packs even when some have been ones i already bought
So I seriously need help here. When I transferred from Origin to the EA app I lost 4 DLC for the sims 3, I have literal physical copies on CD's. How do I contact EA support, I've literally looked up tutorials on how to contact them and I still can't? I literally have no option to get in contact with them and I can't find their e-mail or link to it anywhere, it doesn't show up for me on their website.

Does anyone know what happens if you get packs on different libraries? I get my sims game and packs through steam but this offer is only on the EA app. If i made an account and got the game on the EA app would I be able to get this kit for free and also use my other packs from steam all on the same game? Or does it not work that way?

i love this, im relearning how to build since ive not done any building in the sims 4 yet, i used to build a tone in the sims 3. i would 100% use this for one of my gameplays
I cannot find it for free lol on steam and when you login to the EA app for me at least it still says 4.99... so that's fun lol (most likely something I am doing wrong)

This is one of my very favorite kits. Rather annoying that it's free now, but... I recommend getting the Blooming Rooms Kit while it's Free! Plants really make a difference to livening up spaces.
