You can also change the bar color to white, and both gradient colors to black, and change the blend mode to Screen. That will give you a white EQ over your video.

Do you know why it won't let me extend the effect to cover a full audio recording? I tried copy pasting duration of audio into the duration properties for the effect, but that just created super slo mo bars. Any help appreciated!
To extend the audio spectrum effect beyond the default 30s duration in Premiere Pro, you can try creating multiple instances of the effect and adjust the start time for each section to cover the entire audio recording.
Maybe one I wont have to after affects for REAL free spectrum. Bouncing from one program to another can be time consuming rendering ad re rendering and. . . some of you know the struggle
Adobe Stock is in most Creative Cloud subscriptions, if you don't have it then you'll have to upgrade to a subscription which includes it if you want to use it

Have I done something wrong or is that now the way it works. Trying to find a visualizer that's affordable that doesn't require a subscription is really challenging and I would be willing to buy one. That's a good one for one off but I appreciate you taking the time to make this video.

Hey ! Thanks a lot for the video. But I have a doubt, how do I increase the Grid time? I dragged the effect to the timeline but it only lasts 30 seconds and my video is 17 minutes
When I drag in the tool it only goes up to 30 seconds and won't cover the whole video, the extender icon is red on both sides and it cannot be stretched until the end of video
I figured it out. Just configure the waveform how you want it and then just render that, now bring the render into your timeline and then click and hold the alt key to duplicate it now drag over your duplicated clips to make a longer clip each time until you cover however long you want. Hope this helps.

Make the background complete black and the bars complete white, then change the blend mode in the effects panel to screen. Drop "Tint" effect on it to color the bars.

Idk bro...I mean it's fast as hell in AFX but the rendering is a pain in the ass for sure.. I think it's a small price to pay for the quality and how fast I get this done in AFX. But I enjoy knowing this method now!

You can create an audio spectrum in After Effects which relates to the audio

CAn you remove the background so oyu can have it over a photo?
Yes, you can remove the background in Premiere Pro and overlay the audio spectrum over a photo using chroma key or masks.

Yes, you can achieve this by using a key effect in premiere to remove the background colour.

I tried this but for some reason I can't extend the time on the waveform
Check the audio clip's duration and ensure it is longer than the time you want to display on the waveform.
Copy/Paste as many times as needed and then shorten to desired length.

The effect is only 30 seconds. There is also a video on the channel detailing how to do the effect in After Effects which may be what you want
I figured it out.

It should be made clearer in your title and in the video that this is just a stock animation which doesn't animate based on the actual audio.
